Did y'all know that onesies are made to be pulled DOWN? Like, instead of pulling them back up over the head after a blow out and getting it all over them. How did I not know this? Please tell me I am not the only one.
I also didn't know this! You are not the only one! That might have been handy info on Sunday for DH while I was grocery shopping. DS had a HUGE blowout. So thankful I didn't get it! How nice am I?
So I didn't need to surgically cut off DS's Valentine onesie post blow out?
Yup. Did this to one of my favorite onesies when Kate was about 4 months old. Luckily, we haven't had blow outs or leaks in about 6 months...watch, now one will happen today.
I've heard this. I call shenanigins that there's a "right" way to do it--works better for me to pull over the head. But I've got a kicker, so there's that.
For major blowouts, sure, avoid pulling shit over the head. But normally? Nah.
DUDE! The onesies I just bought at Carter's don't have the overlapping part on the shoulers!! Is this because they are 12mo.? That's the cutest part of a onesie.
I did know this, but the one time I actually tried doing itwith DS, the onsie didn't stretch enough & it got stuck half way down. That made the blow out even messier, so I never did it again. My skinny boy was actually a fat baby.
I knew it too, but I just always pulled over the head out of habit because that is what I did with the normal shirts on them. I may have pulled one or two down due to a really bad up-the-back blowout.
I did not know this. But it explains why I found DS2 running around in his diaper the other and DS1 laughing hysterically about getting the baby naked. His pants and onesie were just laying there on the floor and I was so confused b/c the onesie was still snapped.

I think I need a demonstration.
