It has to flurry (only covering grass and sidewalks..not roads) on Christmas Eve and Chistmas. Then, it can be 75 and sunny the rest of the year. I'm from the Poconos, so we get our share of snow.
The only time I really love snow is during Christmas holidays. Other than that, it gets to be a pain in the butt - brushing off cars, salt stains everywhere, people don't know how to drive when it snows, it all looks brown and messy from the stupid sand they put down, ick. It's pretty to look at but I can't stay inside and look at it all the time!
I live in sunny south Florida... I love visiting my family in NYC BUT I don't think I will ever live in a state where it snows. I'm a sun and sand kind of girl.

I love love love staying home with DS on snow days. We had a ton of snow last tear, had to burn lots of vacay time because we were literally unable to get my car out, and loved every minute!
We make waffles, play games, make it a snowman themed day (thanks, pinterest), do silly things, and pull a car hood behind the four wheeler in our hay pasture.

I voted HATE IT, only because snow refuses to fall ONLY on grass and stay off the freaking roads. If it'd just listen and not snow on the roads, I'd like it much better.
ETA: They also suck at plowing roads around here. We don't just get snow here and there, plow and salt the roads, so they have a chance to be good for awhile. No, we get Lake Effect snow so the roads are pretty much always shitty.
I'm in between a couple of inches here and there and bring on snowpocolypse. I love snow, but it does become a pain in the ass when there's so much you can't go anywhere. Plus, DH works for a utility company, so he's always working during any kind of inclement weather.
Seriously though, while I am on maternity leave, bring on snowpocolypse. If our center actually closes, that is one more day I get to stay home with my little Hoyt dog.

I love the changing of seasons and would be lost without seeing snow every year! I'm not a fan of douchey drivers because it snows. But hey how can you not think fresh snow falling isn't beautiful!?

I love snow and I wish I lived somewhere where we got more of it! Then again, with the kids being so little and being a SAHM I don't have to drive in it anyway, so maybe that skews my point of view. I'm sure I wouldn't feel the same if it started to inconvenience me.
What I really can't stand is ice storms because the idea of being out of power/heat in the winter with LOs really freaks me out.

Some of my favorite memories are of snow days. We'd get snowed in (Dad: well, we don't have clients coming, it's cold, so I'm not going to plow the drive) and my mom would weave in the living room (great way to wake up!) and Dad would have a log fire in the fireplace going, and my sis and I would sit in the living room and read and watch the snow fall. Really, some of the best days of my childhood...(does high school count as childhood?)
I like snow, but i hate wet messy unnecessary snow. Today is a great example, who needs wet snow? For me I want an inch of snow (or more) or no snow at all
Before DH and I were together he hosted a huge snow party on a night we were expecting a blizzard. There were 10 of us all cramped into his old apartment, lots of food, booze and fun times with friends. It's one of my fondest memories of my 20's.
I don't mind being snowed in as long as we don't loose power--then I get freaked out in the dark
I love snow!!!!! I swear, we don't get any for Christmas but as soon as New Year's Eve hits, we get a ton! The only time I don't like it is if we lose power. That happened this past February and it was freezing! I felt so bad changing dd's diaper! Otherwise, I love sledding, hot cocoa, movies, soup, and cuddling!
I love snow but have major anxiety about driving in it or my loved ones driving in it because I got in a bad wreck in the snow a few years ago ... I hate driving, being a passenger in the car, or knowing my loved one is driving.
I love winter but I absolutely dread thinking of my family driving on the bad Michigan roads ... My heart is racing just thinking about it!
Can I be a special snowflake? As a WNYer, I am verrry familiar with snow. You have to find ways to make it fun. For example, not that I will be doing any of these this particular winter, but I love to snow mobile and ice fish. I also love a good blizzard when I can curl up on the couch, watch a movie and drink hot cocoa with my pup. However, I hate the miserable flurries and grey drizzles. No 1-2 inches for me; if it's going to snow, then it had better SNOW as in winter wonderland and work is closed (a rare occurrence for people in health care unfortunately!)
I used to hate it when I was waiting tables because I had to come in, we were always dead, so I was driving in bad conditions and not making any money. The past few years as a salaried employee...I want blizzards every year! I love being stuck inside for a few days. My family even plans around the blizzards and we try to get stuck in the same house. :P
I really like snow, but I can only handle a few inches at a time. Oklahoma sees more ice than anything, but we've gotten Christmas Day blizzards 2 out of the last 4 years...I'm really hoping that doesn't happen again this year, because we were buried for two days both times we got those big storms.
I should probably get used to snow since we'll be in Colorado by the next winter season...
Me and snow are BFF's!! I will miss it this year since the majority of my time will be spent indoors with the new LO, but we'll hook up again next year! ) LOVE snow!

If I'm not working, love it. If we're hosting a retreat and it snows, it is the WORST (Our guests drive up from LA and San Diego. To say they have no idea how to deal with the snow is a ginormous understatement.)

I love snow!! I was so happy last year when we had a few storms with 2+ feet of accumulation.
But, I also don't really have to drive in it for the most part, and DH can work from home if it's really bad, so there's that.
But to me, there's nothing better than being inside and cozy during a bad snow storm. Love it.

I'm ok with flurries. I grew up less than an hour from Canada in the Montana Rockies (by Glacier National Park). We lived in what was considered the "snow belt," so I got over snow real quick like after that. I love being able to go visit the mountains with snow, I just don't like how idiotic people get when driving in the snow.
I love snow but I hate when it starts melting. We get around 90 inches on average where I live, so it's like a flood in the early spring... Yuck! But I really love it until then!
I have to love the snow because H plows snow for a living in the winter!
I also don't mind sitting in the house while it's snowing, watching tv, and sipping on hot chocolate! Also, since I commute about 40 minutes to work, if it snows I get to stay home and work from there, which is nice!!

Living in Minnesota most of my life, you'd think I would like snow, but I don't. Not even a little. I like a white Christmas, and that's it. I loved being in Texas last winter.
I love traveling to Tahoe, Mammoth, Big Bear, etc. to ski and play in the snow. I like it at Christmas time too, but I don't like to LIVE in it. After a childhood of grueling midwestern winters and living in Chicago, I guess I'm just over it. It's not pretty anymore after a month. I liked living in California where I could drive to some of the best ski resorts in the world then in the same day, drive back home to the beach.
Mama of boys, Landon (Jan 14) and Harrison (Aug 15).
I live in Florida now, so I really miss snow! And just cold weather in general. I want to have to at least wear a coat on Christmas Day, or it doesn't feel right!
Re: CPT: Snow: Love it or Leave it?
Full disclosure: Snow is okay on Christmas Eve/Day. That's it. Period.
