I made that peasant bread you told me about tonight and we literally almost ate one whole loaf. I forced us to stop so I can make it into toast tomorrow but wow, soooo good! I want to try it with some whole grain flour next but the plain white was delicious. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh and the only thing was I wasn't sure if my mixing bowls are oven proof. I make them into double boilers but I didn't want to risk it so I used glass loaf pans instead and it worked just as well, or I imagine so but shorter cooking times.

Then and now. How did my boy get so big?
Re: @Gollywollypog !
I just sat down at the computer after a long day and I get a notification BAM! I love that!
I am so glad you liked the bread! What did I tell you, it is THE BEST!!! It seems too good to be true, right?
I like how it's so versitile, too. A few times I've made one loaf in the pyrex bowl and one loaf in a pie dish with rosemary and cheese mixed in and it baked up as a kind of a flatbread.
It's addictive.
:xI have one that takes two days and I want to marry the two and see if it works because that timetable sometimes works for me. I love how adaptable bread recipes are. Oh and if you use instant yeast, you don't have to bloom it and can just be whisked in with the flour.
