We do almost all organic. All organic fruits and veggies (except ones that don't matter) and about half the time organic poultry. (We don't eat red meat or pork) Also organic eggs and dairy. Yes, it can be expensive but it's the right choice for my family. We do Door to Door Organics delivery service in the winter to supplement our crop shares that we do in the summer.
We do local organic. Agreed that all organic is not always better. I do avoid some of our local produce though if it's pesticide-laden. We were lucky enough to buy into a local organic farm.
organic, grass-fed, and local when possible. has been hard living on an island 30 miles out to sea but we will be moving soon. Plus we are opening our own local/organic grocery store and cafe next fall so it will be even easier!
I do. On the rare occasion that I eat conventionally grown fruit and veggies (like in a fruit salad at a restaurant) I take extra care to not consume any GMO's
We try to buy and eat local or organic fruits and veggies as much as possible. If the case is that the organic version is a lot more expensive than the regular version, or if it is not available, I go by the dirty dozen, clean 15 list.
