  Oh you have excellent taste!  They are both beautiful.  I like Elizabeth as a first name because it lends itself to so many great nicknames.  If my DH wasn't such a stick in the mud, that'd super high on my list.

  I love the name Caroline! I have a cousin with that name or else I would use it myself. My name is Elizabeth, so I am kind of partial to that name as well. Good choices

  I LOVE both.  But after reading your son's names... I went with Elizabeth.  I love all the nickname possibilities as well.  Liz, Beth, Betsy.  I LOVE Betsy for a little girl.

  considering the first names only, i like elizabeth better, but caroline is classic and beautiful too.  i think caroline elizabeth flows much better than elizabeth ann, which seems kind of choppy to me.
  
  i don't know.  neither option is bad!  what would you do for nicknames, if any?

  Ann is a family middle name so id like to use it, just doesn't seem to flow with any names I like.

  I love them both, you have good taste in names! I am not a fan of Ellie as a nickname only because I feel like I have heard it so much. I like Lizzy or Eliza as nicknames though.

  This.  I think either is a great choice, but I am leaning toward Elizabth for these reasons.  I also have a good friend names Elizabeth who goes by Biz and I always thought that was cute too.
