DS has no interest at all, so I'm not going to stress myself out making him do it. When he gets to 2.5, I might start worrying. I'm hoping that he will want to go now that he's in the room with potty-trained 2-3 year olds at church. Maybe seeing them go will make him want to go?
We haven't gone in depth yet. He has his kid potty and if I put him on it he pees every time. I am waiting for him to start asking to use it before I really push anything.
We are wrapping up. I was really motivated to have only one in diapers... My EDD is 11\10.
He sees me, DH and DS1 using the toilet, and had demonstrated some interest. So, we pursued it, and it's been pretty good.
We used the naked method. He had some accidents for a week, but he's 100% on the potty when he's naked. Then, we added underwear. He was about 50% with underwear at first. Then, I put him in DS1's underwear. They're big enough that he can get them up and down without me. So, he has been about 85% with underwear since the switch to a bigger size.
We just added clothes last week. He's been more successful than not.
Halloween candy has been his reward, and we dance like maniacs when he has a successful potty. We keep it light, and don't discipline for accidents, just remind that we go to the potty.
E is starting to show interest by telling us "poop" before he goes in his diaper but then again he could run around in a poop diaper for hours. One step closer I guess. Fruit snacks and hot wheels are potty rewards.

Well, DD2 asked to wear undies after her bath tonight, so I put some on her. It was only an hour until bedtime, but she did stay dry and use the potty when she had to pee. It then took a lot of coaxing from my part to get her to wear a diaper to bed. I had to promise her that starting tomorrow, she will get to wear undies when she comes home from. And then she can wear them all day next weekend. So I guess we're potty training?
She has only just started requesting diaper changes when she's wet and hiding in the corner when she has to poop. And it's not 100%. I know these are signs of readiness, but frankly, I'm not ready to try. I really don't think she is ready enough. And with a 4 month old, I don't think I can provide the attention and consistency needed to help her to be successful.
We are probably going to introduce the potty, start encouraging her to try to go before baths and whatnot. But I'm not really trying to get into any type of training until after Christmas, at the earliest.
