Albert only says three intelligible words: mama, dada, and yeah. Sometimes he uses yeah in context, other times, not so much. He babbles a lot, but really I'm not hearing words. Anyone else's toddler not really speaking. I'm starting to get a little worried.
Thanks!
Re: Words (Follow Up)
A girl I babysat did not talk until 2. Her parents took her to a bunch of specialists and there was nothing wrong. Fast forward to when she was 3 and she never stopped talking.
But, if you are concerned, you should bring it up with your doctor because getting some help early can be beneficial.
My brother really never talked until he was closer to two and when he did, we listened up because he had something important to say. Maybe you have the strong, silent type or maybe he'll blossom into a chatter box soon, you never know.
It can't hurt to ask a doctor in a few months if you need reassurance but I'm sure he's perfectly on track
Don't worry! Emery only says four words like sound like what's he's trying to say: dada, mama, bubba, ball, and ball sounds lie "bah". Oh and uh-oh.
He says other words but they sound like babble. "nuh" for nurse and nose. "ah" for eye. "wawa" for water. "uhduh" for outside, etc.
I sometimes wonder if my first had more words earlier on then I realized but being a ftm I didn't pick up on it as much as I do now.
