brown spotting with clot like thing. TMI

I've been having brown spotting for about 5 days. This evening I had some brown spotting with a dark brown stringy clot like thing. It wasn't a lot and it was brown but that looks like what I know a clot to be even if it was small so I'm confused. As far as I know brown is okay but the clot type thing has me worried. Does it sound like anything to worry about or is it probably just from implantation like the rest?

Started TTC #2 07/2013 ~ BFP #2 10/11/2013-EDD based on growth is June 26th

Liam born by Repeat C-Section on June 20, 2014 @ 8lbs 2oz 20.75 inches

    It may be from the old blood pooling in the opening and turning into a clot before coming out! If it's brown and not very much don't worry!! But if u need peace of mind call your doctor or nurse!

    Oh my gosh, the exact same thing happened to me today! I had some brown spotting and called my midwife, who told me not to worry, since my husband and I had sex the night before. After I got off the phone, same thing you said: a clump with brown and a little mucus (gross). I panicked and wondered if I should call her back, but we moved my first ultrasound to this week. I think I can make it until then :) Good luck! Call your doc if you're still worried, though for sure.
