  After dealing with a "I can't handle how self-centered my sister is while she goes through IF and I'm pregnant" thread on my BMB, I decided to spend most of my bumping time over here. It's just still too raw a wound, I think...

  They just had one of those on my BMB. Id say 99% were all like, "Oh it was an accident so I guess my first cycle" or "It only took two cycles were so lucky" and here comes kflynn81 with the "Well...I've been off BCP since July 2009 so um yeah."

  Me: 33, Endocrine issues & FVL       DH: 32, Nothing 

  NTNP 2009-2012         TTC since 2012:

  • Clomid, 2 IUI cycles, and 5 IVF cycles = BFN
  • FET #1   August 2013 = BFP!     EDD 5/11/14
  • Jack dx at 19w1d with Dandy Walker on 12/16/13
  • Severe Pre-e /HELLP set in Jack born sleeping at 20w1d on 12/23/13
  • FET #2 --July 2014  BFP!  ---  EDD  4/5/15

  The 1st Tri board is a whole nother world over there! I can't ever to bring myself to post over there. I wouldn't wish IF on anyone, but it's crazy to see people taking this gift so lightly/for granted.

  although i do hang out on the multiples board which is helpful to me!  but the 2nd tri board and even my BMB i can't handle.  

  Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 

  Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  

  Clomid + Trigger x2; 

  IUI + Femara x1,

  IUI + Follistim x2;

  IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.

  IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 

  Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

  I found once I was past the first tri I enjoyed my BMB. It is fun to chat about baby stuff with people at your same stage. My BMB has been super supportive when I got my news about my baby boys spina bifida. 

  
  

  When they have posted things like: how many kids do you want, etc. I always speak up. There are ladies out there who do the same who I never meet on the other IF boards. I do it because people to know it isn't easy for everyone. I got pregnant easily with my first but then had a long road to number two: two miscarriages, pregnancy loss testing, fertility testing, fertility treatments that failed, etc.

  Soo much more comfortable here! I just can't relate to the other boards sometimes. I feel like I just retired from the majors and they're all in the peewee league. We've just been through so much to get here that the complaining posts really rub me wrong.

  Sorry to double post, but speaking of complaining posts, I have a fb friend who posted today something to the extent of "FML, I'm so depressed to be pregnant because I can't drink, smoke or have an espresso." No honey, I'm pretty sure depression is what you feel after years of infertility.

  My bmb had one of those too. Broke my heart, and hit close to home as my brother & sil got pregnant easily while we were in treatment. Made me wonder if they saw it the same way as the poster.

  (plus synthroid, metformin, baby asa, metanx, PNV, Vit E, D, calcium, fish oil, CoQ10, IVIg infusions and lovenox per Dr. Kwak-kim)
  ER 7/19 14R, 11M, 9F(4 natural fert, 5 with ICSI)
  ET 5dt 7/24 2 fully expanded blasts.  SURPRISE 3 FROSTIES!!!
  Beta #1 8/2 335!!!! Beta #2 829!!!  1st u/s 8/14 showed TWINS!!!!!
