Fet Questions

1. Has anyone gone straight from a failed FET cycle into another FET cycle? I'm at Shady Grove so I go on birth control pills before the cycles, so I'm guessing I'd be ok to stop my medicines when the beta is negative, and as soon as my period comes go right on bcp? Has anyone been told anything different from their RE?

2. Does anyone know why some places use PIO for FET cycles instead of Endometrin? For my IVF I used endometrin (it was successful but I miscarried). For my FET, they started me on PIO but I had an allergic reaction and was changed to Endometrin. The next time I'd obviously start with Endometrin but it makes me nervous of why they don't USUALLY use it for FET cycles?

Thanks girls

  •  I think it depends on your RE. Ours has us take a cycle off inbetween. I've heard of many ladies here doing back to back cycles though.

     GL!

It's twin girls!! Born on 11-2-14!

  • Sorry about your BFN :(
I don't know specifically about FETs...but I'm at S_GF.  I got to start my IVF #2 right after my IVF #1 BFN.  Meaning, I started BCPs five days after my BFN for my next cycle.  They don't seem to waste time there.  GL this round!
Great, I would assume they'd have the same policy for FET then. Thanks!
