How big is your 6 month old?

My daughter was 17.1 lbs and 27 1/2 inches at her 6 month check up 2 weeks ago. My doctor said she is in the 75th percentile ( I think this is good lol). I'm just curious to know the weight and length of other babies around her age. I know all babies are different so not everyone's baby is going to be near the same weight and length

He's a peanut - 14 lbs. (5th percentile) and 26.5" (25th percentile, I think). We were out the other day and someone asked if he was 9 months old, though. lol.

Those charts are so confusing at first. So from what I see we are 50th percentile for weight and 75th for length. My husband and I are tall so I think she will always be above average on that.

At 6.5 months DD is 18lbs 15oz and 90th percentile and 25 1/2 inches 25th percentile, she's destined to be short, all torso and stumpy legs.

I believe there is an "old" set of charts and a new one. My old timer pediatrician has the older charts, so his percentiles are always like 10-15% higher than the recent ones I have on my phone app.

Last week at his checkup he was 6 months + 1 week and he is 16.6 lbs and 27.25 inches. He is a difficult eater (from month long NICU stay after birth) and takes only about 20-22 oz per day but we make up for it with 27 cal formula. He has been on the same part of the curve though, throughout, which (on my charts) is about 25-35% weight and about 50-60% height. Height actually spiked from a growth spurt to 70% but I suspect by the end of the 6th month it will have regressed to the mean.

at her 6 month check up she was about 18 lbs and 26 inches. however, 2 weeks later when I brought her for a possible ear infection in she was 19 lbs, 11 oz so safe to say she hit her 6 month growth spurt right after the appointment LOL.

We use Baby ESP. I know there are free ones out there, and I am sure you could find one comparable, maybe better, if you research it. I like this one. I spent $5 to put it on my phone and then another $5 onto my wife's phone, I figured I have easily spent more than $10 on something for the baby that was less useful than this, may as well. It tracks nursing, bottles, sleep (I never track sleep, probably should), pees and poops, medicines (with reminders if you want), height, weight, head circumference, bath times.. pumping schedule if you need that.... a journal for notes and you can add a daily picture.. spit ups, eating solids, tummy time, play time, etc. Sorry, that's a lot of detail lol. You can chart the history of LO's sleep, naps, bottles, diapers, etc, and you can chart the height/weight/head on the percentile charts.

I suffer from a condition that a lot of NICU parents have - being too focused on numbers! So I pay a ton of attention, throughout the day, to how many MLs of formula my son has had every bottle and throughout the day, etc. It's bad, I know. Oh, and the cool thing is with my wife and I both buying the app is that you can sync it, so while I am at work I can open the app and see that he had 2 oz of apples for breakfast, a 130 ml bottle, and then pooped! Love that.

At 6 mo appt yesterday (DD officially 6.5 months) she was 20 lbs 12 oz and 28.75in long. DD is 97th percentile and height/weight proportionate. Since I'm 64in tall she's almost half my height already!! I also have to say that my little girl has thick thighs and a booty - she's in 12mo clothing but my mom couldn't get a pair of pants to stretch over her butt the other day so we may need to buy some 18mo pants . . . but I love those chunky legs!!

my son is itty bitty.... 16 lbs 4 oz at 8 months old and only drinks 16- 19 oz of formula fortified to 24 calories per oz, please he eats 2 jars of baby food with 1/2 Tbls of coconut oil in each, and has started snacks and water in between. He only takes 3-4 oz bottles every 3 hours and he is a crazy active little guy...almost walking already. Hes been up and down in percentiles from the 1st to the 3rd to the 7th and now back in the 3rd over the last few months... needless to say, I'm a tired mama lol

We just got home from his 6 month appointment. He is a whopping 18.75lbs 74%tile and 25.5 inches long 18%tile
He gained a little over 2 lbs and grew a little over 2 inches since his 4 month appointment.

Our little guy had his 6 month appointment earlier this month...he weighed in at 15.9 lbs. and 26 inches long. He was born 6 weeks early and spent some time in the NICU, so his pedi says he's going a pretty good job catching up.

DD3 is was 14 pounds 3 ounces at six months. At fourteen months she just hit 20 pounds.
DD4: was 15 pounds 6 ounces at six months. At 8 months she is 18 pounds. She is adopted and weighed in at nearly 3 pounds heavier than DD3 at birth.

We just had our 6 month apt today. My little peanut is 12 lbs 6 oz and 25 inches long! She is tall for her weight. She was born 6 weeks early and I had IUGR (she was 3 lbs @ birth) so she is doing really well!
