Re: Can we do a state of the ute poll?

  • Closed for business. I'm on the pill. Better not have another scare since DH is deploying in February and will be gone 9 months. We might start trying once he's back, but part of me wants to wait until DS2 is 3 to start. We'll just have to see.

Jesus. good to know i'm using my shitty method of trying/not trying effectively!

i've never been on birth control in my life.
    seriously, be careful.
I have a friend who is pregnant right now with #4 because of the "natural family planning" method.
    And she is a MIDWIFE

I came (no pun intended) across this once  -- https://abcnews.go.com/Health/Economy/sex-study-pull-withdrawal-method-rivals-condoms-birth/story?id=7688558#.UJiBgMWHJ2B

I'm indifferent on the information, I just thought it was interesting.  And when else in a conversation do you get to bring this shit up?

I'm hoping to get an IUD after I have this baby because the pill and I do not get along.

  • I would love to get pregnant trying/ not trying. Would be SO much easier. And less expensive. *sigh*

Bc should now be covered under the affordable health act

I understand what some of you are saying but we aren't trying. We have used the pull out method since before we have been married and never had an accident. This LO was very planned intact in the first two times of actually trying we didn't succeed. I know accident can happen and if it did I will deal with it but I really don't consider it trying if I'm not using any type of BC. My mother has never used any protection and she only has 3 children she planned to have.  Sorry didn't mean this to sound snarky at all if it does.

  • H and I used the pull out method after I got off the pill, but weren't quite ready yet. We did not get pregnant until we started trying.
