Too cool for me. Maybe?

My husband loves the name Hudson for a boy. I always wanted to name my son Harry after my grandfather, but now that my last name is pronounced Buck-eye and I think Harry Buck-eye sounds funny. Everyone seems to love Hudson but me. It seems a bit too trendy? What do you girls think?

Too trendy-sounding for me, I'm with you. And yea, I wouldn't do Harry buck-eye either. It's a shame when the LN causes you to drop a name you love, but it happens. My LN cut some names I would have liked to consider

Harrison was Dexter's son

and Henry is really popular here. This game was so much easier with baby dolls decades ago!

Hudson is a family name for me, so we're kinda/sorta considering it. (It's really NMS, or at least not our typical style. I like it but it doesn't excite me at all).

I think it's a nice enough name, but if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. What was your grandfather's MN? Would that possibly work?

Hudson isn't bad at all! I like it. Don't like Harrison though because come on eventually someone will call him Harry then you still have the same issue.

Thanks everybody! @homedivaYes twins for sure! Am I on the April board? Not really. I read a lot daily but only posted once or twice...I am very sarcastic naturally so I feel nervous that I will sound like a jerk and get in trouble :-S
