Just have a couple questions for those of you recently moved over to milk (no formula/BM anymore) and sippies
1. How much milk is LO drinking in a day? How about other liquid?
2. What sippy cup do you recommend? Do they use ones with or w/o handles?
We
recently phased out formula and at the same time have gone to sippy
cups. I don't feel though that DS really 'likes' any of his sippys so
I'm wondering which one is working best for all of you? Also, now that
he's on milk he just isn't as interested in drinking as he used to be
when it was bottles/formula so I want to be sure he's getting enough. He
certainly eats a lot, I'm not concerned about nutrition or weight. I'm a
huge water drinker so I'm always concerned that my kids aren't getting
enough fluids! I don't know if I've blocked all this out from what we
did with DS1 or if I'm just over thinking it this time around but it
just seems harder!
thanks!
Re: Couple of questions re your 1yo and sippies/milk
This is the straw one we have: https://www.amazon.com/Zo-li-Bot-Straw-Sippy-Cup/dp/B0031E1GEG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381512094&sr=8-1&keywords=zoli+bot
And we have tried many regular sippys but this is the one both her and I like best (it does not leak which is why I like it): https://www.amazon.com/Nuby-Count-Handle-Spill-Colors/dp/B00792RG1S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381512145&sr=8-1&keywords=nuby+sippy+cup

right now we have DS on WCM and that's going fine, he drinks it great but only from a bottle.
I've tried so many different cups but he pushes them all away, it's driving me crazy! At daycare they give him water in a sippy for snacks (milk in his bottle for b/l and then I do the same for dinner) so hopefully he'll get used to the sippy soon.
