Who is still with me?

I'm 4 days over and trying desperately to be patient. My overseas family is here until Thursday the 17th (cousins) and Saturday the 19th (aunt) and all are none too subtle about wanting to meet the baby. Which I get. But when cousin suggested that I should be induced on Wednesday morning, I about fell apart.

I'm three days overdue and at work today because I don't get Columbus Day off! ;slkjdh;ksajd;kjhsakjdhkj. I could have REALLY used a long weekend right now. Oh well. At least it's quiet and the traffic was excellent this morning. The only reason I'm ok with coming in to work still at this point is because it's much closer to the hospital than my house anyway (10 minutes vs. 30 - 1 hour with traffic).

Sorry your cousin is being obnoxious. Just say you'll be induced only if your doctor decides it's medically appropriate. We're starting to get the flood of phone calls asking where the baby is but DH has been a saint and is fielding most of them for now. Thank God.

I'm 10 days past my EDD now and I think the constant phone calls and texts are the worst part! And I'm getting really tired of confronting the induction requests from family too...ugh. I hope this baby just decides that today is the day.

It's my first day of officially being overdue. Have an appt. on Weds. and I am kind of dreading it. They are going to do a cervical check, which I am not going to decline at this point, and we are probably going to discuss having to do a BPP & NST and also discuss induction options and transfer to a physician.

Really hoping LO decides to come soon, but I haven't really had any signs so I am not feeling too hopeful. Actually I feel pretty depressed about it.

Hi ladies! I've waddled over to join you today. I'm only one day overdue but it feels like a lifetime. I almost wish I was working today because all I can think about right now is food and I'm not even really hungry. I have an appt Thursday to talk about induction. I was really hoping to avoid that but it all depends on if LO decides he wants to come on his own.

I hear ya on this . . . I realize that 4 days isn't super late but I'm starting to feel pretty bummed.

First day over due. Got an apt today so we will shall see what the plan is.
I am including a link to the tea wreath I was talking about yesterday. Clicky
Lessons I have learned is don't use liquid glue on really thin fancy paper. Also, for the tabs, you may have better with the two sided tape or a tape gun found in craft stores versus trying to glue and hold. I haven't started the clothes pins yet. Then for Christmas I'll put some photos on it and voila instant cuteness.

I keep reminding myself that being only 3 days late isn't that late at all but I got myself worked up weeks ago about going early so I feel like I've been on edge for weeks. @Crinita I feel you on the whole depressed thing! I'm literally out of ways to distract myself because I've been over prepared for weeks. In a few weeks this will all be a distant memory but right now it just sucks!

I am with you- 10 days today. I am tired of constant calls and texts too. I especially like 'do you think you will have a baby today?' How the hell should I know???? I would like it to be, but clearly that is out of my control!!!

Hopefully you have the baby soon!!! Then you can start dodging questions about how you are feeling, sleeping, etc etc!

I am only a day overdue but I was really hoping I'd be a week or two early. I'm so tired of being pregnant! I'm frustrated and feeling discouraged that baby will never come. I've been trying to relax and accept she'll come when ready, but it's stressing me out :-(

I'm with you. I spent 4 hours in L&D last night for a false alarm. Now have a AFi and NST tomorrow and induction is Friday if this baby doesn't come before then. My doc is not a big fan of going past 41 weeks because of the mixed research on impact on baby and mom after 41 weeks.

I'm fine with that... Let's get this show on the road.

You ladies rock! My due date is tomorrow and no signs that labor is even close so I have a feeling I'll be joining this lovely group! I'm sorry @vbdigger14, 10 days past has got to be killing you!! Fingers crossed that everyone gets to meet their LO's soon! Oh and I'm totally trying the yoga exercise, lunge things this morning!

Today is my adjusted due date but based on when I think I concieved, I am technically 3 days overdue. I am totally going to try it. I do not want a repeat C. I at least want the chance at a natural labor!!

I'm tired of all of the calls/texts/messages as well. I know people are just being sweet and caring....but I'm over all of the personal questions! Never thought I would go pasty EDD!
