Numb areas on belly?

Anyone else have any numb spots on their belly? I'm sure it's normal given all that it is going through! I have avoided stretch marks so far, but from my belly button to the left there is about 2 inches that is totally numb. Weirdest feeling ever.

So weird!! I'm sure the baby is just leaning on a nerve or something (dr justnooch over here). I get random numbness in my feet and arms. When you think of how crazy it is that we're growing little people a little numbness seems about right.

I used to get the feeling a lot! It's just the stretching of skin and baby pushing on nerves.

OH THANK GOODNESS!

For a while I was thinking I was just loosing my mind!

From my diaphragm area down about an inch is numb! I keep telling my SO and my mom and they think I'm crazy!

Yep! Under my left boob, over my rib, has been numb for a long time! My OB said it's completely normal. I have had rib pain on that side too so I think that side has been shifting and stretching extra.

I have numbness to the left of my belly button too. I think its starting to go to the top of my belly button as well. Its just from all the streching, it should go back to normal sometime after birth....at least that is what I have been told!

same issue here- I was just thinking about this the other night- same spot as your describing as well.. avoided streth marks thus far at 35 weeks (tomorrow) but those weird numb spots had me concerned too

Yep, I've got the numbness. For a while it was just itchy belly, but then it combined with the numb feeling. I've been told it's the skin stretching and there's nothing to be done about it. I avoided stretch marks for most of the pregnancy until a few weeks ago. Now they seem to get worse on a daily basis! Oddly, I'm not numb where the marks are.

I have a uterian fibroid to the left of my belly buttom and I've always assumed that's why that particular area was numb. I'll get numb right under my ribs too, especially when I slouch-
leaving less room for LO to stretch around I guess.

I get numb right along the bottom of the right side of my rib cage. It comes and goes, but it gets really bad when LO is pushing her butt up there as hard as she can. It gets all tingly and then goes numb for a while and can sometimes be uncomfortable. It's a huge relief on days when she decides to hang out lower.
