How long did you push for

Just curious as to how long you had to push for during delivery. I had a vbac and ended up pushing for just over 3 hours!!

I pushed for just over an hour and a half. Pushed out a nearly 11lb baby.

I pushed for 30 minutes, then stopped to wait for the doctor. Once they were there it was another 5-10 minutes.

I did labor her down for 2 hours though, which I think made it faster.

About 5 min (3 sets of pushes)- didn't get much of a break In between.
Dr said I'm not a typical FTM!

I pushed for three and a half hours before they had to take LO using forceps. His heart rate was dangerously low and it was either that or emergency c-section.

With J., it was over 3 hours. With A. I pushed for 15 minutes.

And with S. last month I pushed twice. I resisted pushing for one contraction before that, as I didn't recognize it as a pushing contraction. (I didn't think we were anywhere near that point as contractions were ten minutes apart and only 30 seconds long.) So I had 3 pushing contractions, but only pushed for 2 of them, which was less than 5 minutes.

Truthfully I wasn't watching the clock and I don't think DH was either but my best estimate would be on and off for about 30 minutes (The nurse was having me push to get LO down in a better position for when dr got there). Once the dr came upstairs (they have an office on the first floor) I think I pushed about 3-4 times and she was here.

Exactly the same, I think. The MW recorded 35 mins for the 2nd stage of labor, though it felt like only about ten minutes of pushing.

I pushed for about 45 minutes. There were long pauses in between because my contractions were slowed due to the epidural.

45 min. FTM... foeceps assisted with a 3rd degree. I didn't really "push" though. I was so tired I just grunted a lot and sort of bared down...

3mins! Would have been faster if I wouldn't have had to wait for the dr to gown and glove! The dr and RN were very impressed since I am a FTM however I labored for 30hrs! So I was ready to push!

30 minutes, it wasn't working. They had me flip over on all fours and rock through contractions for an hour and a half, then I pushed an hour and out he came. So 1.5 hours total.

FTM an hour but it probably would've been less but I could only push every other contraction for awhile due to DD being stressed and a high heart rate.
