The misuse of there/their/they're or to/two/too are the worst. Most of the ladies here do well with this, but inside I scream when I see the error.

Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
Ginormous. Giant + enormous. One of my college professors was notorious for making up words. My other favorite was "gihugeic", giant + huge + (something with 'ic').
@mommabmb HOLY SHIT! The outright annihilation of homophones on this forum is appalling. I have some friends on FB that couldn't use "through" and "threw" properly to save their fucking lives! I want to shake them violently.
@turtlemomma Don't get me wrong, it's terrible. However, given the number of regulars, I actually am surprised it isn't worse! I also "high five" in my head whoever corrects grammatical errors in posts.

Johnny and Susie don't has a baby...they HAVE a baby.
I'll admit I'm bad about apostrophes and capitalization on tb. I'm mobile so it's just too many damn buttons sometimes...and I'm lazy. If the phone or iPad doesn't catch it, it most likely won't be fixed.
My husband always uses "proverbial" and it drives me fucking insane every time! Just because you are using a metaphor does not mean you have to say that goddamn word in everyday sentences!
I have a friend who regularly misuses "seen". Example: "I seen her at the store." Ugh. No. You saw her and I want to punch you in your ignorant neck.
The people mess up in texts, emails, etc "should of". Example "I should of been there by 4:00." Ugh. No. You should've. Example: "You should've learned this in 2nd grade."
I thought of another one when I was talking to someone at DH's high school reunion. Using ideal instead of idea. Example: I had a great ideal. They never use idea where they should use ideal though. Ha!
Although I shouldn't be talking since I tend to make grammatical errors myself (bad proofreader), I can't stand the confusion between your and your're.
I worked in a coffee shop when I was in school and I hated when people said expresso! I also hated when people had no idea what they were ordering. If you want espresso and milk and I am filling the cup up, it's a latte, I don't care what else you want in it. Starbucks ruined the word macchiato for everyone too.
Where I live people don't seem know the difference between "sell" and "sale". And it's not just how they say the words, it's a written thing as well. "I bought this sweater on sell" or "I have a truck for sell". Eeeek!
Another thing that gets me is "whenever" instead of "when". Is this a Southern thing?
It drives me crazy when I hear anythink or everythink instead of anything or everything. My old boss, a 68 year old CEO who believed he was smarter than all the rest of us, used to use it and it always made me secretly smile at his little bit of stupid.

I'm a copy editor, and every day I want to scream "Lose has ONE O!" Also, I hate the overuse of "utilize."
Oh, and here's a good tip to remember how to spell "definitely" (a.k.a., definately, defiantly). Only A-holes spell "definitely" with an A. (Courtesy of The Onion)
I could go on and on posting to this thread! How about when people misplace a dollar sign or an apostrophe?? Like "She bought a shirt for 20$ to support the class of 13'."
I have terrible grammar, but I hate when people type da instead of the. Are you trying to sound ignorant? It's the main reason I deleted my fb account.

I hate when people say 'pacific' instead of "specific"...ugh really?

The use of "anyways" is like nails on a chalk board.
"Are" used in place of "our".
Secondly - my SIL says "know" instead of "no" and my cousin says "all" instead of "aw".. I am surrounded by grammatical stupidity.

My favorite sentence " I seen heeem at the store other day."
