A couple of weeks ago, I did a little physical preparedness non clicky survey. So I thought I'd do another check.
Note: this is a readiness check for tangible things. Not emotional readiness.
1. How far along are you?
2. Is your nursery done?
3. Is all the "stuff" set up. Think swing, bassinet, bouncer, etc as applicable.

1. 38 weeks-ish
2. Nursery done.
3. Stuff is set up minus the bassinet. I still need to try and clean the dog pee stain on the front.
4. Installed the car seat and base Friday!
5. Finally packed my hospital bag last week!
6. Baby clothes all washed and put away with the exception of a few outfits that were recently gifted to me.
7. Only thing I still "need to do" is figure out what little bit will be wearing home from the hospital.
40 weeks today.

Yes. Well for me it is.
3. Is all the "stuff" set up. Think swing, bassinet, bouncer, etc as applicable.
Swing isn't yet, that's daddy's job!
4. Is the car seat and/or base installed?
Yes. 3 out of the 4 cars has the base installed.
5. Is your hospital bag packed?
And in my car.

yup.
7. Anything else you can think of?
My cloth diapers are prepped and ready for Fluffy's cute little bootie.

All set, now just waiting for baby girl to make her debut!
2. Is your nursery done? We just need to hang the floating shelves for the wood letters. Otherwise, done! It was easy though...DS #1 will still be in his nursery and crib, so we just added another crib and dresser to the room and called it good.
3. Is all the "stuff" set up. Think swing, bassinet, bouncer, etc as applicable. The bassinet is in the basement still and I need to get another chair from my sister to have in our room for late-night nursing sessions. And the pack'n'play will need to be set up again.
4. Is the car seat and/or base installed? Not yet. But that takes about 3.7 seconds to do.
5. Is your hospital bag packed? Check!
6. Baby clothes washed? Put away? Check!
7. Anything else you can think of? Cloth diapers are washed and ready to go. DS just had his first birthday party yesterday and DH has no more long-distance work trips until November....so this baby can come whenever he is ready!

-Yes. It's been very strange driving around with the empty car seat in my back seat

-Yes. I think I need to go edit it though. I just keep throwing shit in there!

I have no idea! I'm feeling so overwhelmed and anxious about when this baby will be here that I can't really think of anything else!

6. Baby clothes washed? Put away? - I still have 2 boxes of clothes to go through and put away but no where to put them.

Only 3 more 12 hr night shifts left at work. Thank God!!!! Hopefully he comes soober rather than later, otherwise I know I'll get bored sitting around. I do plan on having a maid service come and deep clean the house
I was expecting her last week since my doctor said he wanted me to deliver by 39 weeks due to GD. But he didn't schedule anything, and my appointment was moved to Monday, so we'll see what he wants to do tomorrow, but I'm ready!

3. Is all the "stuff" set up. Think swing, bassinet, bouncer, etc as applicable. Set up the swing yesterday. That was a pain in the ass.
4. Is the car seat and/or base installed? Yep, has been for weeks.

I need to get all plans figured out for the girls still, other than that, no.

Not really! Basically it's all done! Yay!
Everything is ready ... including freezer meals and a clean house.
DH needs to pack his hospital bag but he'll do that at the last minute (don't worry, I've written him a list).

2. Is your nursery done? No nursery happening until Christmas, but we have a crib in a box and some bedding in the package. So, sure.
3. Is all the "stuff" set up. Think swing, bassinet, bouncer, etc as applicable. Swing and RnP are together.
4. Is the car seat and/or base installed? Nope, but since we have done it once I think we'll be OK.
5. Is your hospital bag packed? Yep, and in the car.

7. Anything else you can think of? I took out my electric pump today to make sure it worked. It does and I hope these contractions from trying pick up. (OB suggested I do it)

7. Anything else you can think of? i still haven't even ordered a new breastpump, i don't know if it's because this is #2 but i have been really slacking obviously.
Our new infant seat took me a while to install and I consider myself pretty good at this point. I've done DD1's quite a few times. But the angle adjuster on the new seat was a pain. I had to look it up to make sure I was doing it right. Turns out, it just needed way more force than I was applying.
My point is that it may not be as quick as you think it will be. So I would at least have it prepped and ready to go.

Yes- and while I try to re-wash them (I am bored!) DH says I am being ridiculous and not to waste my time. Easy for him to say!

No nursery, one bedroom apartment so she's sharing with us. But we have the cosleeper ready to go!

Yep! We just have a RnP & PnP, so we are good to go.

Live in NYC so no car. Car seat and stroller are ready to go! Hoping my parents will make it up in time to bring us home from the hospital. I would really hate to take a cab or walk home after. Eww.

Partially. I feel like a lot of stuff I will just throw in at the last minute. ie contacts, glasses, etc.

Yes! I want to go through them all again and see if there's a better way to organize it all. But if she comes soon at least it's all taken care of.

Just can't wait for her to be here!

Eh, not exactly. We till haven't gotten a crib skirt since I decided to forgo a full bedding set with this LO, so I just have DS's crib skirt on for now and she'll deal until I make up my mind and find one.

Eh, i plan on setting up the pack and play in the living room and that's yet to be done.

No... I'm too nervous to wash the tiny stuff in case she comes out huge... Of course I was the same was with DS and he was 7lbs 5oz so that was kind of dumb.

Three more days of work and I need to finish up some stuff there before I'm officially "ready" but I'd take her any day now of she wants to come!

-Yes. Finished all that last night thanks to DH and our two best friends!

5. Is your hospital bag packed? It has a blanket, some wipes, and the coming home outfit if it's a girl. Dh still needs to pick out the boy outfit and I need to pack all my items.
