Something is going on in the world! Poop vibes all around. Baby J is going on day 9. Seeing ped on Monday if it hasn't come by then. 19 days though my goodness, bless your heart and your LOs belly!!
She is still happy, but I think she is starting to get irritated when she needs to fart (which is all the time now), and it's waking her up at night. The pedi is not concerned as long as she is happy, up to 21 days can still be normal for an EBF baby. I'm not sure what happen if we hit 21 days on Tuesday.
That is crazy that it's been 19 days. I wold hate to change the diaper when she does go for the first time. My son recently didn't go for 3 (he's exclusively breastfed too) and our pediatrician said that they don't like to let the babies go longer than 4 days without a bowel movement. They had me get infant suppositories in the event he went past 4 days.

Maybe I'm missing some info about your situation, but I'm sure EBF babies can go up to a week and it is still completely normal (and apparently up to 21 day can still be ok scoring to our children's hospital. I don't know why your pedi would give a suppository after only 4 days (I'm assuming your LO wasn't straining or in pain).
I try not to make judgey posts, but giving a suppository to an EBF baby after only 4 days sounds insane.
Hoping the poop fairy stops your way soon though I'm scared of how big that poop is going to be when it happens! Be ready with lots of wipes and diapers!

I had thought that they can go a long time as well. I never had a poop problem with ds1 as he pooped after every feeding but ds2 isn't as regular. I was surprised when they told me to give him 1 oz of prune juice after only 3 days of not going. When they told me to pick up infant suppositories from the store I was even more surprised. Thankfully as soon as I hung up the phone with the doctor he made a huge movement so I didn't have to worry about it.

I second this idea!
