I know we've done this in all the GTKYs, but just wanted to see it visually. Plus I'm bored at home with DD while DH is working at the Greek food festival manning the bar
Eta - I guess I left out if you're actually 20, whoops.

SS - really, if you can't figure out your age, you have issues. Either that, or you just wanted to see the results :)
Well, I'm a leap year birthday so people like to joke that I'm 7, but reality, I'm 29 . After I turn 40 I'm going to stick with the number of birthdays rather than the number of years

Turned 30 while pregnant on 2/1. I keep saying I'm going to "re-do" my 30th birthday because I always wanted to do something memorable. I always let birthdays come and go as just another day. Maybe I'll turn 30 again for 31! (and 32, and 33..)

I tried that, but I was sick for my birthday. It was actually worse than turning 30 and being pregnant hope you have better luck.
Before DD my bday was fun!! I will be 24 March 17th! St.Patty's day! But I guess now no more bar hoping lol now I will just share a green cake with baby girl!
Hats off to you for going that close to the edge.. I'd piss myself. Each time I see that elderly scooter commercial where those two are near the edge.. I am thinking "What if they malfunction? No way will I be doing that."
Nikki-I didn't think I could do it! I was very dizzy when we first arrived and thought ok I apparently can't go to the edge. I was kind of shocked that no rails were at the ledges and how natural it all is. We had a great tour guide who took us to this one tiny cliff, the one I'm on the ground in the pic, and to get to it, we had to climb down a steep hill covered in snow and ice. One slip and you fall to your death! I backed out but all my friends made it and I could hear them ooing and ahhing so I tried. It was the stupidest thing I've ever done lol but it was amazing!!! Then I got comfy and prayed that none of the tiny cliffs we were on fell. Lol
I'm actually headed to the GC on Weds for our 2 year anniversary -- we are staying in GC Nat'l Park at one of the resort / lodges there... any tips? We don't have a ton of time-- arriving Weds night, driving to Vegas Thursday and stopping at Hoover Dam on the way.
Turned 28 on Cinco de Mayo...11 days after LO arrived! Also just realized that I thought I was 27 until I did the math just now. Definitely told someone at my new job I was 27, too....oops!

I turned 28 on Feb 4 of this year (Aquarians ftw!!), but even before this last birthday I decided that I'm just going to keep turning 27 each b day from here on out. I've had to seriously think before telling people like healthcare providers my real age or the age I wish I still was. Le sigh...

I am crazy, but I love heights! I have never been to the GC, but would love to go. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie I guess you could say (while being careful of course!) That is totally on my to do list. I guess the question now is do I go now without LO, or wait till she is older and take her with us... hmmm...

Are they going to be open?? I had heard the state was thinking of funding the park while the gov is shut down but I didnt know for sure...
I would def go without LO. I could not imagine taking a stroller or even wearing baby to the GC. And taking a walking toddler seems even more crazy! You're literally standing at the edge of the earth. Aside from the danger aspect, it is something I think you need to experience alone to really be able to just be there and absorb its awesomeness. My friends and I just sat there at times not even speaking to one another. So personally I think it's a grown up trip.
Yeah, you're right! I was thinking I could take her when she was old enough to appreciate it, but we are not done having kids yet so that would just get more complicated! Thanks for making me rethink that Definitely a grown up trip in our near future (hopefully).

I'm a September 1st birthday too! Lots of Virgos in here

Yeah. My birthday is Christmas Eve (I'll be turning 33). Sucks.
That makes two of us! I think we may be the youngest.
