MY husband and I live on and own a 185 acre dairy in wa state north of seattle and last night was the third time in a week that a sherrif has knocked on our door around 2-3am ....cows are out....so some kids we are assuming are finding it funny to cut the wire fencing letting cows out...well this morning at 3 am they cut the part of our pasture that has our pregnant cows...11 cows missing and we have a train track very busy behind our property. ..I'm so tired having to round up cows with my husband all night..keeping them out of the road finallh got them in only to notice one missing...well a car had hit her and her and there was a big accident , ultimately the mamma was in sosouch pain the vet had to put her down..we have owned our dairy almosy 8years my husband was raised on it with his family and the cow we lost was one he helped birth when he was 9 so I dont know what to do he's having a hard time and just in abad mood but I totally understand...so while he's out fixing gates and fences I'm purchasing security cameras to catch these little excuse my language f, ers....this is ridiculous I have two kids that are tired of being woke up I'm pregnant and running around getting the cows pit away ugh im so tired this week and need to vent its been a long week...this is just ridiculous....

Maybe the local paper would write an article about it. What a pain to be having to get up in the middle of the night to chase cows, especially pregnant.
I also would post signs saying hidden cameras. And shotgun ready.
Are you going in vacation? How long for?
