Feeling sad...

So we found out over the summer that our (extremely healthy and fit) RE had an aggressive, hard to treat cancer. He underwent an extensive surgery and eventually returned to work a few days a week. He had help from colleagues from California and Boston to keep his IVF patients cycling. They had planned to sell his practice to another IVF facility so that he could keep working as able and to spend time with his two young children. Unfortunately, his cancer is more extensive than was thought. He is now on home hospice and is spending what time he has left with his family. His practice has been sold but they have not announced who will be taking over yet.
I am so upset over this. I look at my beautiful baby who is here because of him and he is being taken from his own sweet children. I keep bursting into tears every time I look at Amelia. It's just so sad and so unfair. My heart is breaking for his family.
Sorry for the sad post, I just needed to get that off my chest a bit. If you have any spare T&P'S, I know he can use them.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!

After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

@MrsLee04 , he and his wife also did treatments. I believe both of their children were Clomid/IUI. We had some good laughs about the Clomid crazies

ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!!
I am going to send him a letter along with a few pictures of Amelia. One of my nurses said he is getting an outpouring of love from patients and he loves the letters and pictures
