A Facebook friend who is due the day after me (we're both 27 weeks) posted on FB that she felt the baby crawl up under her ribs today and so she put pressure with two fingers under her bottom rib and felt the baby wrap her hand around her fingers and hold her hand from in there .....

I call bullshit but I'm a FTM so I suppose I don't know for sure. Everyone just posted "awh you have the sweetest baby!!" Etc. In the comments...... Buuuuut I just don't see how it's possible and had a good chuckle/eye roll about it.

Yeah...I'd call B.S...like occasionally later on you might be able to tell if there's a hand or a foot pushing out, but holding hands? there's no way..

I have an acquaintance who posts stuff on fb all the time like that. She is 4 weeks behind me and a FTM. If her baby does everything she says he does, he is a medical miracle. It drives me nuts!!

I would be SO tempted to comment "Oh really? Because I'm a week ahead of you and my doc says it's pretty hard to even tell if it's a hand or a foot at this point." or something like that but I probably wouldn't.

It's just impossible! (In reference to your friend) Cute thought though and way to get some "awww" attention from people who don't know much about maternity... I mean, I'm a FTM and learn new stuff everyday but I would like to think that the uterus is a little thicker than allowing an entire tiny fist to wrap around your finger at this point.
If it's not, I'm in some trouble the way I toss and turn at night. Maybe it's my baby that's grabbing the covers and stealing them from my husband. *shivers* Creepy.

Someone should inform her that it's really not a good idea to have your real name as your SN....quick FB search and I found her and her whole page is public.

She also posted her BRU registry link on her FB page AND she's hosting her very own baby shower and invited all her FB friends....

I will say i absolutely HATE Facebook invites to important events. I basically never go to anything anyone invites me to via Facebook ... I just don't take it seriously. House parties/if you're in a play/something like that is fine but to a personal birthday party .. shower.. Wedding ... I hate it- even an email with an Evite is better IMO
