Carriers

I left my Bjorn (which I didn't love) in Mi and so its in storage till Feb. Since my beloved tigers are playing the Sox, I want to go to the game and am thinking I need a carrier for DD, she is about 20 lbs, can you recommend a good one???

TIA

IT'S A GIRL

Re: Carriers

  • I like my BabyHawk. You can only use it facing in/front or on your back, though. Everyone raves about the Ergo and the Boba, but I can't speak from experience with them.
  • Loading the player...
  • Love the Ergo!!!  Although we haven't used it in a while since DS probably wouldn't have it.

  • Ergo is great.

  • We just bought an ergo a couple weeks ago since it's uncomfortable to carry DD in the baby ktan now (shes about 22lbs). I really like it. I went for a long walk the other day and my shoulders and back didn't get tired at all. My only gripe would be that DD can't face out, but that's just how it is with that style of carrier.

  • Another vote for the Ergo. I know i'm always plugging TJ Maxx, but they've had them in there lately for $69.99, that's where I got mine.
  • Ergo Ergo ERGO!!! I don't wear him as much anymore because of my stupid back but when I do, it is very comfortable. imageimage

  • I love my kinderpack.
  • I have a boba, I usually use the back carry these days. It is great, I can still carry my three year old in it.

  • Ergo or Beco Butterfly. I like the Beco better if there's no chance Adeline might take a nap. She's never slept in the carrier, but if she were to, the Ergo goes up really high and she can kind of sink in easier.

  • I have an Ergo and a Boba.  I love them both equally.
I bought the Ergo while pregnant with Eryn and have used it with her and Mallorie.
I bought the Boba (I believe it is the organic) when Leah was three and we started flying.  I loved being able to throw it in my carry on.  She could walk, but if she got tired, I could easily pop her into it.  I wore her until I got pregnant with Eryn.  It is good for older kids, and I love the colours.
  • I don't love my Beco Gemini, so I'm going to try an ergo for baby #2, since everyone raves about them.
