We built our crib a couple days ago and I have a question about the "shelf" inside. Do I put anything on that metal flexible shelf in between the mattress? My husband and I thought no, however, wanted to double check since we've never done this before!

Nope, just put the mattress on top!

Other than a possible crib skirt, I can't imagine what else would go there. So nope, nothing else.

Great! Thanks... was worried some kind of box spring or something needed to go there. No such thing as a silly question right?

Mine came with a little tie-on liner thing (maybe for dust??) but other than that just the mattress and crib skirt if you are using one.
