Im bored...my husband has begun the candy crush intervenous internet drip so were both being internet whores while drinking tonight. So lets start FC early shall we? Just bump up tomorrow merning!

My FC..............I cannot wait for the next election because im going to vote the hell outta congress and kick them all out. ( to the best of my abilities)

Andplusalso Im super deeeeeeerunk right now and im going flip it, rub it and lay it down like it's nobodys business because my man will be gone for a month and theres not enough batteries to make up for that~!

My kids dances on his table on the reg I think he's going to grow up to be a male stripper.

I didn't post a whole lot while all the shit was going down over here because I was in such a funk. I obviously can't handle stress very well. Im still worried about big f getting his pension in November. If the government doesn't stop the shutdown we'll be seriously fucked come Nov. His pension covers our mortgage and all our bills.

I've got nothing good to confess. Other than my kid watches a lot of TV. Today she watched about 15 minutes of Micky Mouse Clubhouse and then this afternoon we watched Madagascar. I'd say she probably watched a total of an hour.

@fishybride82 - It's easy to say, but try not to worry. Thomas was doing absolutely nothing "new" for a while, and just exploded in the last week. For us, it all comes in spurts - he grows up all at once, and gives us no warning. Hang in there, I'm sure he's fine. Probably just taking it all in so he can amaze you sometime in the near future.

@reinedecajun yeah she is her mothers daughter when it comes to TV. She's also getting molars so sometimes she just wants to sit and cuddle and watch TV. It's nice and we read a shit ton of books and play outside so I don't figure there's any harm!

Frankie will only watch sesame street and sometimes Thomas and literally like 2-4 minutes a a time. Totals maybe 20 mins a day. I love those fleeting minutes of concentration!

@lainikins ha I'm the same way. I watch a ton of TV. And some days I keep Criminal Minds or Top Chef on and Dagny watches a bit but she will really sit in my lap and watch the cartoons.

Another FC: I'm seriously pissed at the amount of "photography" sites in my area. I can't compete with them all. I've checked them out and there strickly amatuers one chick used a freaking flash in every single photo and it wasn't edited at all! It just makes me angry. Why go to school for something if anyone can pick up a camera and claim to be a photographer? I dont think it would make me so mad if I didn't need the work. I have faithful clients but I need new clients, it makes me doubt my work.

Aww thanks @hokiemama06 I'm sure you're right. He's been teething up a storm (and then got a cold and an ear infection). I have heard 2 new words so we are probably moving in the right direction.
Also, always nice to see another cute Thomas around!

@fishybride82 - You're ahead of us! We don't really have any words yet. Lots of signs, but not really words.

I totally agree. Most of the TV shows we watch are harmless & DD loves a lot of the theme songs. She gets SO excited when she hears the intro for Gilmore Girls or Curb Your Enthusiasm. DH thinks his video games are harmless though.. no way! Those are nap time or after bed activities only. His argument is always, "but she doesn't know what's going on!" Except that on some level, she really does. Also, you're shooting people in the face - not cool.

He should know better anyway. He recently has taken up boxing for fun and likes to come home and fake box with me. If DD sees, she'll run up and slap me and laugh. I actually think its kind of awesome because she's totally proving my point for me - no violence allowed.

OK this is a weird one.......

Emery is literally my shadow. She follows me and has to be wherever I am. So she saw me changing out my tampon. Ever since she willb grab my deoderant stick, lift up her shirt, and try to stick it in her belly button. So mortifying. At least its innocent enough that no one but me and all you would know what she is trying to do bahahaha.

I put G in his crib for a quick nap today at 5 while I made dinner, and figured he'd just play in the crib for a while until my H got home. He ended up falling right asleep, and then so did I! He's still asleep, and I feel like a shitty mom because I didn't feed him dinner tonight

I feel like he will wake up if he gets hungry, though- I'm definitely not planning on waking him. Also, when I woke up the kitchen was clean, and my H was downstairs painting our family room after he worked a 12 hour day. Now I'm in bed (again), and he's still down there painting. I really need to get back on the whole "wife and mom grind"- I feel like I'm doing a pretty crappy job at both at the moment.

Our TV is on all.day.long! While J really has zero interest G enjoys Mickey, Oso, Sophia, and Daniel Tiger. It is what it is. Everything in moderation, right?

My confession is G still is not potty trained and is no closer then when we started. She has absolutely zero interest. It bothers everyone else but me. I found out a long time ago she beats to her own drum and will do things when she is ready.

I am putting Cameron in daycare for 4 days instead of 3 from November to March. My mom watches him 2 days per week but I am dropping her down to 1 day because she doesn't like to drive at night and it puts too much pressure on my to get home early. I told her that I am doing it to save her the stress of driving. But it is really saving me the stress. Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful for her help but I can't get home by 4 two days per week.

I don't have clean scrubs for work. I only work 2 days, so its maybe less gross. And I work in an animal hospital.

I went for a mile run yesterday and literally peed my pants. Body after baby sucks.

I also don't care that Bryson watches TV. He doesn't veg out in front of it and does plenty of playing, "reading" and spends time outside. We have it on all the time to cover outside noises and he hones in for a few minutes sometimes. It's either DVRed Disney Junior or football, so I'm fine with it. It's not a babysitter, but the fact of the matter is we watch TV, our kid will see it and there's no point in getting my panties twisted over it.

My FC: When I take a day off that MH is at work, I play up the housewife role hoping he'll realize life would be better if I go ahead and quit early instead of when #2 comes along. Tuesday, I cleaned the house, did all the laundry, fixed my hair and put on makeup and had dinner ready (with the kitchen cleaned up) when he got home. I felt a little bit victorious when he said "I wish you could just stay home now" later that night. Baby steps...

Ben likes to drink iced milk with coffee creamer. It's terrible, but I let him do it once or twice a week when I drink my coffee. He thinks he's big and special when I let him, and I don't feel like breaking his heart over it.

I'm super sick right now so when the kids went down to nap yesterday I did too. I woke up and knew my husband was home and would get the kids when they woke up.... so when he came in to check on me I pretended to still be asleep. I then let him deal with the kids while I did some reading. I needed a break and really, really just wanted an hour to read!!

The TV is always on in our house for at least background noise as well. Charlie doesn't really pay attention to it, and if we start to she goes and turns it off. Really obnoxious but she makes a good point, good for her.

When I played hookey last week I feel like I brought about Charlie's sickness in a way because I told my boss I was going to pick her up from DC because they called. Now I'm paranoid about it and worry that it was my fault.

@fishybride82 Same here with the underwear. I have some that have been around since college. I can still wear them and they are in decent shape so why throw them away.

@chipmunk112511 I understand. Some days I count down the minutes until it is LO's bed time. I just want to watch TV and sit in peace after a long day.

My FC is that I feel like my life is pretty boring. I like to play things safe and plan everything. I wish I was more spontaneous.

When my mom watches DS, I always leave my car with her. She has a carseat, but she picked it up years ago from a thrift store, and I'm pretty sure it's FF only. I don't want to hurt her feelings by telling her not to use it with him, so I keep coming up with lame excuses for why he needs to be in my car. I need a backbone...

My dad would let me have my own coffee. I remember being 4 and loving it. I didn't know back then but it was mostly warm milk with a splash of coffee. But he would serve me in my own coffee cup and everything.

Since H started his new job he's been working long hours, and we hadn't DTD since the day I left for Boston. Last night he passed out watching TV and I wasn't in the mood, but I knew if I woke him up to come to bed he would want to get laid, so I sneaked into the bedroom and went to sleep, knowing I would probably have to take one for the team in the morning. At the asscrack of dawn he leans over and starts kissing me so I'm like, "Ok, fine, a quickie before you leave and then I'm going back to sleep" and he's like, "Oh, awesome, I was just giving you kisses, I wasn't trying to get laid but ok!"
