According to previous posts, it's unpopular to like grungy men. As much as I love a sharp dressed man, I can't get enough of the Rock Star look! When I first met DH, he had long hair and he played guitar. (He still does!) Johnny Depp is probably my #1 celeb crush.
Oh girl, welcome to my "dirty rocker boy" boudoir. Even my husband knows what I'm like. We'll be listening to a metal band and he'll be like, "their drummer would totally be one of your imagination boyfriends. He looks like he showers in axle grease."
So, yeah. They either need to look like fucked up Russian hit men, or sweaty dirty grunge rockers. And, um, I married a clean cut Indian guy with silly sheep hair that makes it impossible for him to ever grow it out long and sexy like I prefer it. Love conquers all, I guess?
I don't know if I have an original UO this week. I'm feeling extremely popular.
I hate nationwide contests like the Gerber Photo Search or "Vote My Baby as the Cutest!!!". Most of these contests are used for promotional purposes for the company.
Also, unless you have an huge friend list that will vote, your chances of winning are slim to none.
I went shopping the other day to find a shirt to wear with leggings. I couldn't find anything. Why does everything right now look like something my great- grandma would wear?
It doesn't bother me when people leave stuff on their sidewalk (so you have to walk in the grass around it) in the neighborhood. Is that because my kids do it too? Is that unpopular?
I think germs are good for kids to an extent and antibacterial soap/sanitizer should be used on a very sparing basis. Mutated germs freak me the eff out. I say good ol fashioned lye and lard/vegetable oil soap is the way to go, generally.
I think water is the best thing to wash your face with. I stopped washing my face with any soap, face soap or otherwise a few months ago. I've struggled with acne my whole life since puberty and it is the WORST. Now I just scrub with water and my hands every night and spash water on and pat dry in the morning and my skin has never been clearer. It's revoloutionary for me! NO MORE FACE SOAP!!!
I love the corners on brownies, but that's the only food.
I would rather have one amazing piece of fine jewelry than 100 pieces of junk that you can mix and match with various outfits. My budget for my mother's ring was $3000 and I thought that was perfectly acceptable. I came in way under budget, though.
Snow is the best weather.
I don't see the purpose of sofa tables. We have one and it's just another thing to collect dust.
I think Johnny Depp was hottest as a grungy pirate and Orlando Bloom was hottest as an elf in Lord of the Rings.
"To be able to practice five things everywhere under heaven constitutes perfect virtue...gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness."
My UO is that I think it's odd when people don't know famous, infamous, or well talked about people. Example: I referred to Octomom when talking with my friend and she literally had no idea who I was talking about. How have you not heard about her in the media?

I am so guilty of this but I do know who the octomom is. It's like I live under a rock.
Omg the corner pieces are the best of almost everything! In Chicago they have square cut thin crust pizza, I love the corners!
Where do you go for Chicago thin? My favorites are Marie's and Candlelight. And my sister introduced me to Calo.
DH LOVES Calo.
H and I were total regulars at Calo. The owner, managers, and all the bartenders knew us. I used to live 2 blocks away. I loved everything on their menu. Pizza (stuffed and thin), pastas, ribs, sandwiches, everything! And they served food so late, which was always good for me after gigs. ::sigh:: Reason no. 3213213 why I miss Chicago.
Ooh I loved Marie's as well! And candle lite! Those are places I haven't thought of in years!
Re: UO?
UO and FFFC are why I can't just quit the bump yet. Maybe next week...
Anyway, my UO: snow and rain are awesome!!!!!!!!!! I'll never see snow here in town, but it's rainy today and I LOVE it!!
Another : I don't see the super obsession over the iphone. I really don't get it.
You can have all my corners!
I get this way about brownies. All corners, please!
Let's see, unpopular....unpopular....

I hate pickles. DD likes them and I have to try really hard not to smell them when I get one out of the jar for her.

Orlando Bloom in anything, though!
(I married the skinny scruffy dark haired drummer type)
But @batdaughter4eva J14 is having the returning shopping carts debate on their UO post.
I do not find most of the GIF threads that entertaining.
Please don't kick me out now!
