Sorry I am so late this week - my nephew left the hospital today! Which means I had the other three to drive me nuts... Lol
I see some new members - I'm sorry you find yourself here but I will tell you that you won't find a better bunch of women anywhere!

My update - as I mentioned above, my nephew is home from the hospital so I am very happy. I just need sleep cause I have been going non stop for too long now.

Just getting betas every two days now hoping I don't need methotrexate to end this what might be a tubal .
So not doing too great but hanging in there. This will all be over soon hopefully.

PA I am so happy to hear that your nephew was released from the hospital, that's great news! I do hope things begin to settle down for you and you can get some sleep! And I hope his friend is doing ok and healing well.

Not much going on here. DH is still not convinced I am truly KU, lol. I am just taking everything one day at a time and trying to enjoy it.

So happy to hear your nephew has been released, PA. Hang in there, Lacy. I really hope this concludes soon for you so you can move on. T&P to you. I'm waiting for AF so I can start EPP with ccrm, hopefully with ER the week before thanksgiving or so.

Rachel: I'm glad your nephew was able to go home. I hope you get caught up on rest!

AFM: Yesterday I had a SIS and my uterus was declared "beautiful". All my labs came back good so Monday I start estrogen and ET will be here before I know it! Also, I met my new RE for the 1st time in person yesterday. He was super nice and very gentle. My last RE was a little rough with speculums, etc.

AFM: We had our first official OB appt yesterday. The heartbeats were flickering away clear as night and day. My state of shock is turning into a state of amazement!

I've been testing since transfer and haven't even gotten a glimmer of a line. My beta is tomorrow. Hopefully after that I can begin to put this chapter behind me. The only positive is that I will finally be able to cut ties with that clinic. That actually brings me a surprising amount of happiness.

Update: My DE consult is in an hour. I am very anxious and scared. I want this to give DE a try and desperately want this to work, yet have this awful fear we will spend another $40K for more failures.

Good luck mm! Ask about shared cycle... It cuts the cost in half it's what we did and in so glad we chose that. The risks are scary but hopefully be worth it in the long run!

Thank you! I would maybe consider a shared cycle, but dh has a balanced translocation. This decreases our chances of chromosomally normal embryos. we will take all the embryos we can get.

I actually just got home from my consult. I decided to cycle locally because my cousin will be donating her eggs to me. I felt cycling locally would be more convenient for everyone. My new RE is amazing. She was recommended to me by Zazu13. I will start a new thread regarding my consult.

Hi ladies! Thanks for welcoming me so warmly. Crappy that I need to be here (or any of us) but glad to hear such rave reviews of the members

Lacy: I'm so very sorry for what you are going through. My m/c was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. No one in the entire world deserves that kind of pain. I'm so, so, very sorry.

AFM: We have a phone consult with cc.rm in a couple of weeks. I think I'm excited about it, but I can't decide. I feel like I'm just going through the motions, really. If/when we do the odwu, I'd love to plan it around our anniversary so we can use the time as a mini vacation. Sad that we need to use fertility treatments as vacations! I don't know if we'll actually do a full cycle with them, but we want to do testing with them before doing our last FET at my clinic. If they feel there is something wrong with our embryos or my body (duh!) we'll just have more information to make our new game plan. I started AF this week, which was another crappy reminder that our latest 2 embryos decided not to hang on for the long haul. With AF came the worst cramps mother nature could throw my way. Thank you endo. So, a little Tylenol 3 ended my last couple of nights. At least it let me get some sleep!
