Why did I buy that

I'll give you an item (As Seen on TV themed for starters) and you can agree, disagree or go off on a tangent with other related products. If there's enough interest we'll do it weekly. Ok?

Today's item: SNUGGIE

You know you want one. Received as a gag gift, I certainly laughed. Mine is zebra print and cute, warm, cozy, washes well without pilling or shedding, and soft. BUT I usually wear it backwards because if you wear it as advertised and sit up or move AT ALL it falls down off your shoulders since it doesn't fasten, which is annoying.

Verdict: Get one and wear it like a robe! Or just wear a robe.

Do you like yours? Want to fess up to having pajama pants or the Forever Lazy? What's your favorite comfort item? (Save pillows for another time)

Never had one never wanted one. I love this oversized sweatshirt type thing that is fuzzy all over. After LOs swim lessons last winter I always put it on since I was cold to the bone. Fuzzy socks are also favorites of mine.

Snuggie--verdict no.

I really like my snuggie. I have 3 actually. My only grip with it is that it is a dog hair magnet and I wish they were thicker.

If you find yourself with a Snuggie you don't want, alternate uses include:

• car/ plane lap blanket
• couch sex blanket
• cold office cocoon
• drunk guest wrap (when you don't want to see your good blankets and towels on the bathroom floor)
• emergency robe when unexpected guests show up while you're home in braless mode

hahaha I love this thread, especially the alternate uses lol!

I always thought the snuggie was pretty goofy. I haven't wanted one but I definitely agree with @nenecakies that I would wear it as a robe. But I have a fabulous robe from Mary Kay that I adore so I don't see me wearing a snuggie anytime soon.

I have a Snuggie, it's perfect for when I'm sick and want to sleep on the couch!

I wear it backwards too, otherwise my back gets cold.

I never had a snuggie. I'm not opposed since I'm all for bundling up and staying warm. DH bought me a heated blanket instead. I haven't really used it much, kind of a pain since you have to plug it in to work, but I usually put on my robe and throw a blanket on top of that.

I'd pick the snuggie at the family Christmas swap.
