mom groups

Does anyone belong to a mom group in grand rapids or surronding areas? If so where did you find it/ sign up at? i would love to join one but don't know where to start. Thanks!.

I wish! I live in the Holland area and it's been so difficult meeting other moms that I connect with.

There are a few on Facebook. Grand Rapids Area Moms is one that typically has a decent amount of play dates. Grand Rapids Moms is another but I'm not part of that one so I don't know how active it is. Depending on what area of GR you live in MOMS Club has a few different chapters but they are area specific.

You can search the MOPS website. There are a couple around GR.
Otherwise, lets hang out! lol. I live in Allendale.

@Gracius1014 I also live in the Holland area and would like to find a mom's group. Most of my girlfriends are either not married or don't have kids. I'm only 7 weeks along but it would be nice to have some mom friends in the area.

Sorry to hijack the thread but @Gracius1014and @Jillio31I live in Grand Haven and know no one but my parents in the area. We could start a lakeshore mom's group and do our own meetups. I would love to meet other people especially since I'll be staying home at least part-time. I think it would be great if people from Grand Rapids were interested as well.

I live in the Holland area as well, I don't have any pregnant friends accept one but she works a lot and it's get first, where as I'm on my 2nd so I have a lot of stuff going on after school gets out
