Pumpkin Announcements.. come on in

If you did a pumpkin related announcement, can you please post your pic here? We're doing this this weekend and I'm not sure what we should do.

I was thinking of taking a picture holding a huge pumpkin in front of my stomach (pic taken from the side) and writing something like "This is what I'll look like soon!" OR just carving a pumpkin that says "April 2014" and then take a picture of DH and I holding it and write on it "We're having a baby!" or something.

But I'd love to see what you guys did!

I was thinking about it today at the grocery store... something with two big pumpkins with a baby one between them. I didn't work out all the details but it did cross my mind too:)

Here was ours. I really like you're idea of the side profile holding the pumpkin, that's cute! We decided to go with an itty bitty baby pumpkin.

"We're expecting our little pumpkin" on the chalkboard and "April 2014" on the little pumpkin. I also tied pink and blue ribbon on the top of the pumpkin.

This is what I sent to a few family members today. Going to actually carve the dog footprint into the pumpkin for the real shot. ...Also thinking about carving a pumpkin with two little baby feet, and then holding that in front of my belly...shot will just be from shoulders to hips.

We took photos this weekend so I haven't 100% choosen which one we'll use...but I think it'll be this one! Ill caption it with "our little pumpkin coming April 2014!"...or something similar.

Ugh, I'm so jealous! I didn't think to do anything creative for our announcement. I just posted an US pic to Facebook and said I couldn't believe I was going to be a mommy of three!
But I DO plan on something cute for gender reveal. My last baby I did the whole cupcake thing with pink frosting inserted in the middle, so people had to take a bite, it was a lot of fun.
This time I'm going to probably do a ballon in a box with our family at Thanksgiving dinner, then something pumpkin related for FB announcement.

All of these are adorable! I was thinking pumpkins before knowing it was twins. Now I am envisioning DS (20 months) holding two little pumpkins. The trick will be capturing the moment before he launches them!
