You are very lucky!!! I would love 4 in 4. Who knows if it will happen, but I will give it my best shot! My younger siblings were 3 in 3 years and they were so much fun to grow up with. I am 4,5, and 6 years older than they are so I remember a lot of the chaos that came a long with them. Which is exactly what I want in my own family.
BFP #1 5/19/13. EDD 01/20/14. Said goodbye to our Angel baby 6/10/13
BFP #2 Aug 6th. Hoping to meet our Rainbow baby on or around 4/16/14
*if* we have a 3rd, they will likely be that close. DS will be 19 months when LO#2 arrives, which seems like good spacing for us. DH thinks we should be 2 and through, but I want to wait until after #2 to decide for sure.
Mine will be about 20 months apart. We are happy to have them so close. We just wanted to get through all of the newborn phases. I know it will hard early on. How did you feel the first year with 2u2?
My oldest will be 3 years, 4 mos when #3 arrives - almost the same as yours. So many moms that I talk to that had kids close together are glad it happened that way. It may be crazy for the first few years, but then it's great.
You go! I don't think I could do that. I love the 2.5 years between my DD and DS. There will be a 2 year difference between this one and DS. 2 years works for me

My oldest will be the exact same age when the baby arrives. That's close enough for me. We were planning on a 4 year gap but I panicked about getting older and possibly my fertility declining so we went for it.
My first two are 16 months apart, this one and my middle will be 2 years and 4 months apart. I'm honestly more scared about that age gap than I was with 16 months apart. My oldest will be 3 years and 7 months when LO#3 arrives.
Nope. Mine are 3 years and then 2y8m apart. And I like that much better.
Just curious...how do you know you like that much better when you don't have any that are closer? Seems like an odd post when she was asking if anyone is having 3 in 3 years.
Yep, my oldest will be 3 yrs 1 month and we will also have a 1 year 7 month old when the baby comes. It will be a little crazy but fun. We are both 40 so we decided to be done after this.
OMG, you ladies are brave or crazy or something Mine will be almost three years apart, which was just how i wanted it. We had four under four in my family (plus two older, and including me and my twin) and it was a little TOO nuts.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
My first two are 15 months apart and it's awesome! I love how close they are. When baby #3 is born my oldest will be one month away from 4 and my middle will be 2 and 8 months

Yea, that was rude. You have no idea what it's like to have kids close in age if you don't have them.

I don't think it was odd or rude. She merely stated her preference. It's okay to prefer the way you do something without having done it another way. I prefer cats as pets, even though I've never owned a dog. Sometimes you just know what is a better fit for your life.

How was that rude? I don't have to have a c section to know I would prefer a vaginal birth. I would never want three kids in three years I know that for a fact even though I have never had them. My two in three years were plenty for me.

I think you are reading too much into her comment. She stated what works for her just like everyone else did.

We have a 16 mo age gap and a 22 month this time! It works for us really well. The hard thing was when the oldest was 2 and middle was 1 I had to drive 3 hours every week for 10 weeks to do same day surgery with the 2 year old! Alot of times I did it alone! After that I'm not worried about handling my 3 lol! Thanks for the input everyone!

I guess rude wasn't the right word. Maybe unnecessary? It was a post about how excited the op was to have her children close in age.
My 1st 2 are 15 mo apart. It was tough but fun!! We didn't have our 3rd until 6 yrs after. 2nd baby had bad colic & we were not ready to do that again any time soon! My 3rd will be 2 when this one is born
DD1 and DD2 are 2 years and 11 months apart. DD2 and this baby will be 17 months apart. I plan on the fourth and last, to be just as close... just my personal preference.
Awe. That breaks my heart to hear my aunt has one child and was told she can't have more, they are going through all the fertility stuff, it honestly broke my heart to tell her we were expecting again. My heart goes out to anyone in situations like yours!
I'm jealous. This is my first but I have a step son who will be 10 before this one arrives. It's not an age gap I could help. He was obviously around when I met my DH. We've been Married four years and trying for 3 before we sought help.
With all the expenses and heartache of getting this rainbow baby underway I'm not sure we'll be able to have anymore financially (fertility is expensive!) or physically (I've already lost two.) Be thankful for whatever age gap you end up with because for moms to be like me we don't get a choice. I'm thankful for my one on the way but I am sad to think this will be the first and last time for me.
My one right before this was intended to reply to this

We have a 16 month age gap and now a 22 for the baby due in April. I honestly want all my kids under 2 years apart, my maximum space I want is around 2.5 years! I'm glad I'm only the only one, people think I'm crazy and I also want 6 kids!
I didn't read all the comments so idk if this was ready asked but how do you handle the jealousy. You know, your toddler trying to regress because they think it'll get more of mommy's attention? I always am affraid of this.
Any of you having kids is a short time- did you get pregnant while breast feeding? I would like to have kids close together but plan on breast feeding, I heard that you "don't get pregnant" while breast feeding.

I remember a few years ago my sister in law got pregnant while breast feeding my 2 year old niece. She wasn't EBF since the kid was two but she was bread feeding a lot because my niece was one of those toddlers who refused to go without breast milk lol
This is my first and I honestly don't know how we'll want to space our next ones. I'm a teacher, so I'm more concerned with aiming for a late spring/early summer due date (sure worked out for this baby, lol) than I am with spacing out my kids. Guess we'll just see how it works out

You can definitely still get pregnant while breast feeding. I did when my son was 11 months and and still breast feeding quite often.
