We are flying to the Caribbean for a week with DD in November. She will be 7 months old. She just started solids and currently eats mashed banana or avocado and lots of fruit and veggie purees. I make her food at home.
I am unsure of what to pack for our trip.
For the flight- I will bring puffs or cheerios. Any other ideas?
For the hotel - I can ask room service for avocado and banana to mash, but should I bring baby food with me? If so, any suggestions?
TIA!

Re: Traveling by plane with baby foods?
Personally if travelling outside Canada/US I would bring a full supply of bought, jarred baby food. I wouldn't buy there as their food can different and may be hard to find in the touristy areas.
In most other countries I wouldn't risk using their water to try and make my own baby food...and probably wouldn't even want to use it to wash the baby's stuff. This, of course will greatly depend on where you are going, we've never been the the Carribean as we tend to travel off the beaten path. There may be less concern there.
A 7 month old doesn't really NEED food so you can just give breastmilk or formula if you prefer.
