I'm so over lack of sleep. I totally know I signed up for it and I know it will eventually get better (fingers crossed) but this every 2 hour thing is driving me crazy. Ecspecially when my friend with a LO the same age texts me about how hers slept 11 hours straight...that makes me want to punch something. I would be content with just 3 or 4 hours right now!
My awesome sleeper now keeps me up all night. I am a zombie.
I also have a pinched nerve that has most of my body aching. The pain pills made MOTN feedings near impossible so I halve them now, which makes them less effective.
Plus, my husband's snoring is even worse than usual. I just wanna run away to the circus- a sleep circus.
I'm sick of being woken by DH's snoring in my ear, breathing on my arm, or dry humping of my leg. He also talks in his sleep, every. Single. Night. It's amazing I get any sleep at all!
We're sharing the same b**chfest, I'm over this 2 hour thing too. If I had a friend my kid's age, she would get side eyed so hard for telling me how well her kid sleeps knowing mines is up every 2 hrs.! No I don't want to hear how well yours sleeps....yes I am hating!
@medschoolwife this exactly! But mine doesn't even make it 2 hours most of the time. I am starting to lose faith that it will ever get better. He has been up 6 times since 9:00 last night.
I woke up before DDs MOTN feeding with a super leaky painful boob. Went into dream feed her, smelled something not so great. Wasnt DD so once I finished I checked the cat litter box, thinking the cat must've just blown it up, nope not there. So I check on DSand the freaking dog had explosive diarrhea all over his room. I couldn't get it all cleaned up with paper towels so I have to shampoo his carpet before work. It also took me an hour to fall asleep after that.
DD still has not pooed, 12 days and counting. We need to go to the pedi righ when she would normally nap so I'm probably going to end up with an extremely angry baby the rest of the day. I also think we've hit the sleep regression, she's been up every 2 hours, but I'm hoping it's just a side effect of her lack of BM.
I'm so tired of have Rodents thinking my house is a party house! We usually get racoons up in our attic, a skunk usually comes around 3 times a year and sprays our house and nwo we have a possum digging up my front yard. I'm so ready to sale our house!!!
LO woke up 4 times last night. Her 4th she peed and pooped out her diaper. Yay changing clothes and bed sheets! I think LO has a cold from her cousin, she is all congested. Two days later, I'm congested too. Bleck. And my husband gets to phase out of his back brace. Yay right? Except phase out to him means never wear it again so he can heal his muscles quicker. Meanwhile, more useless to helping me out with LO and me helping him out more because of his pain.
We are going for Tyler's follow-up urology appointment to schedule his circumcision today...I know this is routine and he is in the hands of a specialized professional, but it still makes me nervous.
And before we get into a circ debate...it's medically necessary, he was born with a twisted frenulum and a webbed penis, if we don't get it done then he will have ::ahem:: performance issues later in life (sexual and functional)
I loved you going to bed at 6:30 yesterday. That was awesome. But Mommy would appreciate you sleeping longer than 4am. Also, it was cruel to fall back asleep just as I was finishing my second mug of coffee. Way to guarantee that I wouldn't be going back to sleep with you.

Last night, our little guy decided he didn't really want to go back to sleep after his middle of the night feeding. After being up for awhile, I woke up my husband so I could get some sleep. Well, my darling husband decides to start cry it out with our 4 month-old with no pre-consultation of this. So, the sleep I was hoping to get when H relieved me for a little, didn't happen and I ended up getting out of bed about 20 minutes later to tend to the little guy.
So basically, I got NO sleep. And I got NO help from my husband who I want to throat check right now. And I am pissed that we are making parenting decisions on the fly without even talking about it. I have been told a MILLION times to not quit BF on my worst day, but B has one bad sleeping night and we are jumping on CIO with no discussion! WTH! And frankly, I don't even think B is ready for that AT ALL. OK- end of vent.
Anyone else have family members who say this? "You never call me, I'd like to see the baby...I don't want to call and bother you." Ok, first of all this is a total contradiction in one sentence and second...my life is whirlwind. I'm a full time working mom and wife. I have so much going on that I have to concentrate on keeping my head on my shoulders never mind thinking of calling you. It's not that I don't care about you...but seriously?! You know my number, you know where I live. You call me!

I have a friend that had to get both of her boys done because of medical reason. They were 11 and 1 when they had to get it done.

DH, LO and I are halfway across the country to look at homes since DH accepted a new position within his company and we have to move before the beginning of December. LO did great on both flights but I end up spending last night throwing up and wishing we were home.
And no it's not from being pregnant, you have to have sex to be pregnant. I'm just sick at the worst possible time. Hoping today goes better.
My MIL always without fail stops by when I'm pumping. Not only that, she insists on having a full blown conversation with me. She does the something when I nurse O in front of her. I fee like she's staring at my nips!

And they are fine? Do you know of their recovery time? I'm fully committed to take the week off that it happens so I can be there for him. Unfortunately that means I'll probably be nursing a little longer than planned, but I just want him to not be in pain...
Hubs acts all frustrated when I ask him for help in the morning. Dude, you are getting one adult ready in the AM. I am getting one adult, plus one teeny tiny unable to help person ready. It's not much to ask for you to talk to her while I clean up the poopsplosion in her PNP so she has a place to sleep tonight.
Our lil' diva: late like her Momma: 40 weeks 5 days!
Sounds like a lot of us are sharing the same one. Sleep. What's that? I forgot what a good rested night feels like. We are up every 2 hours too. Oh, and like many others...if my friend doesn't keep sharing how amazing her baby sleeps I am going to lose it. Seriously, it's ridiculous how well she sleeps. Part of me thinks she is either lying or exaggerating. As much as I don't want to admit it, I am super jealous (if its true). And while I'm at it, she acts like her baby never cries. Stop it. You are making me feel bad about my semi-fussy baby. And I know your baby cries. Why? Well, because she's a baby. That's all.
It's Monday again, and I have to go to work. Plus, DD's four month checkup today.
DS has his today too, and DH is taking him because I can't watch him get shots.
I am so over not being able to lose weight. If I diet any harder I'll be living on water and broccoli!!! Ugh. My genes are sucktastic! After the holidays, I'm getting a tummy tuck, so I can wear pants that fit me. I'm currently wearing jeans that are huge on me, but fit on my belly because of the extra skin. I disgust myself.
@heelibrarian you can see it in this pic. I made a tube out of the material and tied the beads inside it and added a strip of ribbon to the back so it would fit over my head.

With her one year old, it was about 2 weeks. The first few days were the hardest because of the pain but after that he was up and playing around. She said the worse thing was that the pain meds wore off before it was time to give him more so he was in a little more pain then. I think he slept a lot the first few days. Hopefully your LO will do good since he is still young!
I know this is a stupid thing to B about but it really irritated me this morning that our reverend was at the hospital waiting for us this morning. It's bad, and I know it but, I really don't want him here.

DH is in the entertainment industry and usually works nights as a freelancer. The next two weeks our daycare lady is on vacation. DH has day work everyday this week. Awesome.
Medela bags suck! I had to throw away 6 bags of milk because it smelled bad and tasted AWFUL. That has never happened in the lansinoh or nuk bags I've used. No wonder DD has refused her bottles on Mondays.
Spit up... You'd think I'd be used to it! It still bugs me out the amount LO spits up. Dr assures me he is fine, just wondering if that spincter will tighten soon?!
Also frustrated with the "no poop". Who ever thought I'd be wanting and anticipating poop!
