What should I do about DS having a cold with 1 week old in the house?

My son came down with a cold today and I have no idea what to do. Should I send him to his Grandparents house for a few days? Just purell the shit out of everything? I am totally freaking out he has totally kisses the heck out of her and touched her.

    I don't want him to feel abandoned if we sent him to his grandparents when he is sick either.

    More than likely she's already been infected, so I wouldn't send him anywhere. Just kind of have to let it play out. She will probably be fine though and not catch anything.

    My 5 year old is sick and i am delivering tomorrow. Its stressful. Not much we can do i guess beyond breastfeeding (i am interested in hearing others opinions though).

    Yea that would help but I'm ff so I'm doubley screwed.

    When I brought DS2 home from the hospital DS1, MH, & I were all super sick. And I came down with a horrible case of pink eye in both eyes. He's fine; didn't catch anything. I am nursing but I really don't think that's the only reason he's ok. Just be really vigilant about hand washing, make sure DS only kisses her feet (keep him away from her face & hands), and I would also start taking her temp now so you have an idea of what her average temp is (just in case).
