No I get upset at the fact that parents feed there one year old boxed Mac and cheese. They know it's bad but continue to do it stating it is the only thing he or she will eat. No your just being lazy.

You get UPSET?
It must be so difficult to carry the weight of the world's poor choices, how do you do it???
We're not even going to talk about the fact that gollywolly was the incorrect target for your nonsensical remarks.
You have an unfortunate sense of humor if you think calling other moms "lazy" or busting into threads that you have not read and ridiculing an awesome poster is fun.
I love everything about this thread, and all of you are winners.
I bought Charlotte macaroni and cheese at a restaurant last night. She ate the crackers that they put out on all the high chairs as an appetizer. Next time, I'll be sure to throw them.
That makes me the laziest of lazy moms. My grammar, however, is impeccable.
If box mac and cheese is lazy, then I have the laziest mom ever. You'd think that despite basically being a single parent with two kids while her husband was deployed during most of her children's first 6 years of life, and having to make ends meet on a teeny tiny military paycheck, and making $20 too much a month to qualify for food stamps, Mom would never have to stoop low enough to serve us Kraft m&c so she could afford to put gas in her car. For shame, Mother!
Am I the only one who associates it as Lent food? But it has to accompany Van Dee Camps (sp?) fish sticks and applesauce. Oh and peas. Gotta have the peas.
You know what? Now that I reread this, I'm irritated. I'm lazy if I give my kid Mac n cheese? I work two part time jobs at all times, pay a mortgage, pay daycare, cannot afford my own health insurance (and I haven't had it for myself since I had the baby), pay for all diapers, clothing, and utilities, and raise my child on just my income. I have had to resort to taking my child's father to court in order to make him pay child support, knowing he's going to try to get joint custody so he won't have to pay anything. Sometimes Mac n cheese is all I can afford at the end of the month. So excuse the holy hell out of me if my kid eats Mac and cheese whenever I want to feed it to her. I don't need or deserve judgment for that choice. Dammit.
It's funny that this came down to Mac n cheese. In response to the "prepared stuff is more expensive" comment. For an example of how this is not true I had written a post about how expensive it would be to make home made vs boxed, but decided not to post. MM you are a wonderful mom and are working your ass off to give your DD a great loving home.
Thank you, ladies. I wasn't trying to take it personally, but after awhile, it got to me. I just hate it when people get called lazy when sometimes said lazy moms just have no other options.
What about sloppy joe? And plain spaghetti with store bought sauce?
Woah! There's nothing wrong with either of those...right?!?!
Oh, and I serve hamburger helper on occasion too, but it's not from the box, it's a homemade version. Totally healthier.
Also, I tried to give DS Mac and cheese and he acted like it was poison. Lol.

SCANDAL!
SCANDAL!
I hate doing this BB, but it's "their". I still love you!
My mom served both in the rotation with Mac N Cheese and Hamburger Helper.
It is amazing we survived childhood.
Eta: but my mom was working 3 jobs, so I don't attribute it to laziness.

MM and GPW you are both great mamas don't let Judgey McJudgerson get you down.
