Okay, I need a new car seat recommendation. DS is finally ready to get out of his infant seat....we are a half inch away from the height limit. What should I get? I want something that is easy to take in and out, can rear face for awhile, and will last a long time height and weight wise. Do big baby car seats still have bases? I don't really want to buy 2 seats, but sometimes I drop DS off at daycare and DH picks him up, so I want something that goes in and out easy
Re: Car seat?
If the seat is working for you now, that's great, as many find it hard to install correctly. From what I've read, it's not safe as a booster for most kids.

Got pregnant on our own without Fertility Treatments - January 2016! Thank you snow storm Jonas!
EDD 10/15/16
At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
Dh and I both have the britax marathon. Got one for $165 and one for $199.
I won a carseat in a raffle at the hospital. Its an evenflow something. I think tribute? Its very very basic. We put that one in the sitters car.
I will say I really miss the ease of the infant seat and being able to easily switch it between all 3 of the bases.
