Ds1 had horrible issues with pooping.
He has to poop. It's there, he just can't get it out. He's on 1tsp of Miralex twice a day already so this isn't a new issue for us.
He's pushing and pushing but he can't get it out. I've tried a warm bath, running around, rubbing his back and a suppository (which he just pushed out).
Anyone have any ideas? My heart is breaking, he's screaming that his bum hurts and he just can't get the monster out.

Re: Help me help my kid poop.
When our son was having issues when he was a toddler our pediatrician recommended a liquid suppository. It's called Fleet Children's Pedia-Lax™ Liquid Glycerin Suppositories. It worked miracles and within seconds so make sure you have him near the toilet or put a diaper on quick.
Also our pediatrician prescribed Magnesium Citrate. Not the whole bottle but the pharmacist can help you with the dose. It's over the counter.
We also give concentrated apple juice and lots of fiber foods.
He's asleep now so I'm hoping after his nap we'll have better luck
