Due Jan 18 and so far I'm up 7lbs. I lost probably around 8 in the first tri and gained it all back. Doc keeps telling he to eat more which is hard because there's not much room in there, and I rarely feel hungry.
I will be going to get weighed in a couple of weeks.. My due date is Jan 29th. So far Since my last visit I only gained 6 lbs! The doctor said that was fine. Baby iseasuring perfectly. I am not complaining by any means!
I'm due Jan 15 and have gained 27 lbs... But I swear at least 50% of it is in my boobs... They are bigger than my belly... I can't find large enough bras, and I feel like a top heavy freak of nature.
No idea. And I dont want to know either! I get weighed at each OB visit and I guess she would let me know if my weight gain was abnormal. Im really happy not knowing! I eat healthy most of the time and exercise regularly. As long as LO is fine Im not going to bother about my weight gain too much. It happens! Im very new here so I cant be sure but we havent we had WAY too many weight related posts here?? Urgh :-S
Here's my contribution to the 900th weight post this week .....I'm going to eat either coffee cake or a cheese mother fuckin Danish for breakfast or maybe even both- so you can probably guess how much I've gained so far!!!

Sigh. But assuming you're asking this innocently enough (I must be in a good mood), I'm up 14lbs in 23 weeks. 7 of those pounds were gained in the last 4 weeks and I'm blaming it ALL on the baby. Ahem.
My sister works at a bakery that puts like 14 lbs of butter in everything. She brings me treats even though I told her to stop. ....So that's how much I've gained.... My sister is the nicest bitch ever.
Send your sister my way!!

I feel like this is attention and compliment seeking. If your Dr.'s are telling you what to do I would do that since they are the professionals. I've gained 18 so far.

Peanut I'm almost inspired to get up and try that dance move but then I'd have to make a post called "23 weeks and I broke my nose" but that is pretty bad ass.

I've had a couple people I know IRL who've made comments about weight like this one.... One even "water loaded" before going to the OB so she wouldn't get in trouble for poor weight gain.
Get over yourself. Eat frequent small meals. You're growing a flippin' human being. Add butter or peanut butter or calorie dense foods to your diet. There IS room.
All of these women went into preterm labor, by the way. Luckily all with good outcomes.
25 weeks, up at least 15 pounds (maybe closer to 20?) and I look good!!

@mindybadger1 - I don't think this is very constructive. I'm 27w3d and have only been able to gain 4 lbs. I don't say this to "brag" - I say this because I have been really trying to gain weight, and can't. That's how I've been my whole life. I eat all the time, and make sure to eat lots of protein, and even eat more junk than I should.
Preterm labor is a huge fear of mine, and I feel like I'm doing something wrong every time I step on the scale to see if I've gained - so comments like yours about how everyone you know who didn't gain weight went into preterm labor really isn't helpful.
Early morning food posts are not helpful!!! Luckily there's a Tim Hortons 3 blocks away so...if I walk there and back I'm getting some exercise an a treat!! Pumpkin spice donuts, here I come!!
@COgirl29 I think the difference between you and OP is that you are actually trying to eat more for the health of your baby, OP does not seem to be doing the same. I think @Mindybadger1's point is that those she knew who went into PTL weren't eating enough,

This, exactly.
ETA-- it's the truth... some of my acquaintances were an extra special kind of crazy and were excessively exercising on top of it.
My biggest point is (not well worded, I get irritated with all these weight posts) is to listen to your doctor's concerns about too little (or too much) weight and take steps to work toward that goal. Obviously, cogirl, you're doing that.
We're on our way out of town and I said I needed to pick something up.. Something from Tim Hortons bc it's cheap and I can't do burgers anymore (I've probably had 50 this week!) and my husband suggests chicken burger from McD's... Okay... What do I do?? "NO LETTUCE ON MINE!"
(Facetious snobby tone) I am 26 weeks and have actually lost 45 pounds. I'm never hungry for anything besides lettuce and water and even though I am pregnant I still manage to run a half marathon every morning before work. Then when I get home I clean the entire house from top to bottom because I feel that great and have that much energy to spare. In the evenings (after I have made DH a 9 course dinner and have dined on my lettuce and water because, did I mention I feel fantastic and am NEVER hungry?) I work on my novel and then off to bed for a perfect uninterrupted 8 hours of sleep. Never in my life have I felt so skinny and pretty and perfect.
Now, someone please hand me a cheese danish and can we please stop with the obnoxious skinny pregnant chick posts!?
