After 10 weeks, I finally did it!!....

I cleaned my house!!! And I'm not talking about the normal things that have to be done, I'm talking about the big jobs I normally only tackle about once a month. I cleaned baseboards, dusted fans, mopped the floors, scrubbed all the toilets, bathtubs, and showers! Go me!!! .... I've been so exhausted lately that I've really neglected the big stuff. My sweet husband has done a wonderful job keeping clutter picked up, but he's not too fabulous removing dust bunnies! It's nice to be able to walk through the house without leaving footprints in the dust. Ha!! .... Did I mention my parents are coming over tomorrow?!? Sometimes a little motivation can be a good thing!

Anyone else losing some of that awful first trimester fatigue?

That's the worst part for me! My husband had wood floors installed throughout our entire house about a year ago. (NEVER agree to that!) it takes forever to steam them all. .... I do have a Roomba to help with the "sweeping". --- that's a blessing.

Oh, my studio is a disaster. Still fatigued. It's depressing to sit here staring at the mess but too exhausted to do anything about it. I work full time at a very busy coffee shop, which has been tough these last two months. By the time I get home I'm wiped out!

I had every intention of doing this while dh was out if town on business for 3 days. Especially since I have boxes to unpack from a 2 month trip.
I managed to get DDs room picked up (still need to dust, vacuum, mop, etc) and put her clothes away. And pick up and vacuum the dining area and kitchen (still need to mop, wipe out fridge, unpack the kitchen items we took, etc).
It'll get done...eventually. Maybe I need to talk someone in to visiting so I have some motivation.

I paid someone to clean mine too.

But I actually did do a "between the cleaning ladies' visit clean" today because we had friends coming over tonight. I think visitors are a great cleaning motivation!

Ugh. I just can't. We're hiring cleaners back once we get a new security system installed. Cannot happen soon enough. (This is the upside of me still working).
