We have Karina Marie already... And I'm Krista so I am debating doing another k for a girl but right now my top pick is Briella heather but my husband isn't sold on Briella but heather is the mn no matter what, my cousin passed and I'm due on her bday. Other girl first names I have on my list are kamila, kassidy, kassandra, Sofia, lisette
Boy the middle name will be Michael or mikhail after dh's dad (not sure if we'll keep it Russian or Americanize it) First names I like are Rhett, Troy, Tyler, Gavin, max,
For a boy: ....let's just hope it's a girl... Every time DH and I talk about boys names we end up not speaking to each other. He is a "junior" and wants a "third," I on the other hand want to actually name my own child. It doesn't help that his dad (right after we told him we were TRYING for a baby)said "I wouldn't mind having a third around."
My husband is the 5th, and I did not want a 6th. I wanted a name that was reflective of both our families, not just his. He agreed and we selected a name that paid homage to both sides. Both families love out son's name. Stick to your guns and find a name everyone agrees on!
We want to do this too. H has a mostly French background, and mine is mostly German, so we want to use names with those origins.
We have a boy's name we've loved for a while. It was the second runner up for DS's name and the boy choice for DD (We were team green) but we have no middle name yet (good thing she was a girl!)
We have no girl choices yet, but we'll probably wait until we find out what we're having to see if we even need to discuss it.

I say after I carry a baby for months, push a baby outta my vag, or allow one to be cut out, I get final say on baby's name. Period end of story. Call me a jerk, but I'm not trying to please anybody with my name. If family likes it, cool. If they don't, oh well. Of course I will try my best to come to compromise with DH, but outside of that we don't tell anyone our names because I don't even want to hear opinions. And no matter how much DH wanted a certain name, if I couldn't get on board that's that. Every mom earns the veto card
LOVE it! I told my DH that I get two votes...one for me & one for baby. I'm not trying to be a jerk & am of course trying for a compromise, but with IVF I have been thru A LOT, & now I will be carrying the baby for nine months & then delivering said baby. He gets the easy part!
I love picking out names also We have two sons Hunter Page Caleb Daniel One baby girl Elizza-Bleau Marie
This time we picked Amellia Dallea for a girl and Russell Dale (after my husband). We saw the movie about Amelia Earhart on our first date so that's why we chose our girl name!!
My fiance and I want 4 kids. 2 boys and 2 girls. Our first girl will be named Leilah Marie and the second (subject to change) is Kaylynn Nicole. The first boy will be Noah Reid. We can't think of the second boy name. His last name is Gibson so we have a hard time with his last name and finding a name we like with that. We are thinking maybe Logan Alexander or Charles something.
Garrett Daniel (Daniel is my husbands name) for a boy and Aubrey Mae (Mae is my grandmothers middle name) for a girl We've had names chosen for months now.
Dd is Caroline. IF we decide to keep with our original plan of naming our kids after counties where we live (here for military) then our girl choices are Charlotte, Paige(different spelling) Madison, Augusta, or Amelia. (Hubby only likes Charlotte or Madison) and boy choices are Grayson, William (we have 4 of those in our family already) Charles, Lee, or James.
Our son's name I Willem Cael John, Willem we liked, Cael is gaelic, John is a family name. We will go with the same format for baby #2!
We haven't really discussed names yet. And I will say I'm impressed someone else has a name that is on our list! Our names don't normally match other peoples!
Boys: Brantley, Dixon, Weston
Middle: Timothy (just need a gaelic name that fits)
Girls: Emmelynne, Kennedie, Eberleigh
Middle: Nicole, Anne (need a gaelic name that fits)
We already have a Gracie Ann Daisy and Tristan Phillip. This time we are thinking of Avery for a girl or Rebekah, we might put them together. For a Boy we like Aidan and we are really struggling with middle names. We have always used significant names for middles (Daisy was my beloved Great Grandmother, and Phillip was DH grandfather). I really would love to honour my Dad but he told me once to never name a child after him since he absolutely hates his name (Herman). I can't say it would ever be my first pick either but as a children we all called my dad Poppy instead of Dad or Daddy, so I have been playing with the idea of using that in the girls name as a middle maybe. Otherwise I might do my mom's middle name Elaine. For boys I have no idea what to do for a middle. Might go with one of my brothers names (which are all family names as well) Richard maybe.
We're thinking Seamus if its a boy (shaymus) no idea for a girl..... Although totally subject to change. I've been an emotional mess so well probably wait until I've gained some sanity
We are still talking, nothing set yet. We have an Olivia. Here's what we're considering so far
Boy: Thaxter (family name), Dexter (I like it better than Thaxter, but similar), Elijah
Girl: Isabella, Zoe, Madeline, Julia
We're considering girls names more than boys because we both think it's a girl. We didn't get serious about names until close to the gender U/S last time and it will probably be the same this time.
@LilNunz1 I also am on team Shannon since it is my name too. It is pain only since my coworker has the same name and it is a tiny office but that is just odd since it isn't that common. Also there is a good chance she will get married and take a new last name someday anyways. I personally think my name sounds a lot better with my husband's last name, my maiden name started with a "s" so it was too much "s" sounds.
It is terrible but we are so uncertain on names that is the main reason why I want to find out so than we only have to come up with one name rather than two
Are initials a big deal, that is a part of my problem since we know the middle initial is "A" and the last is "R" so there is a big potential to spell something. I figured CAR was ok but not sure about BAR, WAR, TAR or EAR as initials. DH says the baby's not going to have monnogramed towels but I worry about teasing
On the flip sides, names I like that I can't use because they are already in use in our family or have a negative memory for DH and I, but I still like:

Sorry....can't tag you because of the spaces in your name. It really is the one girl name we love and my one consolation is, how often are you going around being called by your first and last name? Other than the first day of school and possibly a job interview...hardly ever, right?
Ps...what is your middle name? We are struggling with a good MN for Shannon.
@LilNunz1 It is a weird family name, I've had a love/hate relationship with it my whole life so not something I'd recommend. I actually thought about using my middle name at work but decided constantly correcting the pronunciation would be annoying
DH always wanted his MN (Ray) passed down to a boy but since we will probably have another girl I'll pass it down as Rae instead.
Girl: Georgia Rae
Boy: ___ Ray
Ugh. Boys are hard and odds are we will have a 4th girl. But the discussion still needs to happen. I like Southern names. My girls are Reese, Emma, & Scarlett.
My DH and I have decided on a girl's name: Molly Kay. There is not a family tie with the name Molly; however, my mothers name is Kay and a lot of my family members' middle name is Kaye/Kay. Hopefully we have a little girl, because we can not agree on a boys name.

DF really, really pushed for Kaspar for a boy name. It's OKAY but I don't love it.
Baby #1 due June 5th, 2014
boys: Liam, Lucas, Daniel
I have not discussed these with DH, haha! He might veto all of them
Oakley approves of the snoogle

We cannot agree on any girls names, so hopefully it's a boy and we don't even have to go there!
Graham Michael
Grant Paul
Wes Patrick
Girl:

For a girl, I'm thinking about Sarah Lynn (my mother's middle name), but not 100% decided yet.

This time we picked Amellia Dallea for a girl and Russell Dale (after my husband). We saw the movie about Amelia Earhart on our first date so that's why we chose our girl name!!
Girl: Isabella Eve
For a girl, it's going to be one of these:
Charlotte Sophia
Charlotte Grace
Charlotte Joy
DH likes Sophia Grace but I already know 3 girls with that name so I vetoed.
Middle Name: Daniel
Girl Names: Lillian, Cora
Middle Name: Rose
Baby Boy due October 2017
Girl-Zoey.....no middle name yet!! Lol
Boys I like: Brayden Luca or Landon
