What names do you like?

I know it is super early but I love the picking out the name part of being pregnant and have been thinking about names since we started TTC in July.

Here are some that have been on my list for a while now...

Boys - Xavier, Isaac, Xander, Liam

Girls - Lorelai, Isla, Abigail, Julianne

If it is a girl her middle name will be Mary after my grandmother and if it is a boy his middle name will be James which is my dad's middle name and his dad's first name.

So...What are some of your favorite names...or do you already have a definite name picked already??

I already have an Abigail Grace and a Madison Noelle.

If we have another girl, her name will most likely be Isabella Marie.

If we have a boy, we're screwed. We can never agree on boy names. I really like Logan or Lucas.

DD is Alyssa Claire. We think Amelia Kate would be a cute sister name! We'll struggle with boy names. We love Liam but worry about it being popular. I guess Amelia is really popular too so I should throw that argument out.

We already have a Claire Michelle.

A boy will definitely be Jack William.

We are having a tough time with girl names. Claire was all we could agree on last time. Thinking Elizabeth Jane or Maura Jane, but I also love Kate and Shannon. Unfortunately, Kate is an ex-gf of DH and Shannon sounds a little silly with our last name. Oh! Or maybe Emily or Rebecca. Ack! We can't decide!

We haven't started talking names yet, but we will likely go with an Israeli/Hebrew name. So to say it'll be unusual is an understatement

(pronounced: mee-CHAL kah-lah-NEET - with the "ch" being a guteral sound, like the spanish jota, no "ch" like in charlie)

Boy will for sure be Matthew Forrest (Forrest is DH's grandpa's name). H has been set on Matthew since we got married.

Girl will most likely be Roslyn Lucille (Lucille is my mom's middle name). But I love Paige and Victoria so who knows, it could be one of those.

If we have a boy, his name will most likely be Isaiah. Middle names we like right now are Carter and Cole.

For a girl, we can't come up with anything we both love (we had the same trouble with DD #2), so I am sure it will take us a while to come up with a girl name.

@shannonliggett LOL Totally agree! I'm just concerned about how it sounds with our last name. Starts with N, rhymes with honey. That would be six N's in the name. Seems like a little much. Some days when I say it out loud it sounds fine. Other days I get concerned.

Matthew Lucas if it's a boy. The girl is still up in the air. I am pushing for Rachel Leigh. Arya is also a possibility.

We have had names picked out for a year (two losses in a row). Camden Robert for a boy (Robert after my grandpa). Lillian Ruth for a girl (his grandma). :-)

I love the name Kayden! It was actually one of our top names, but then some of our best friends had a baby and named him Caden (pronounced the same way), so now it's out. Anyone that ripped on your name was cray (and wrong).

Right now DH and I are feeling Liam for a boy as well (we would do William, which is a family name for DH, and then Liam for short, which I think is nice). Middle name will be for my BIL, so it will be William Thomas.

For a girl, we were both on board with Zoe (I like Zoe Sage and Zoe Claire, DH can't get on board with middle names yet), but now DH keeps rubbing my belly asking "Zoe? I'm not sure it's a Zoe." So who the hell knows.

Such a silly thing to get heated over- personal tastes. FWIW, I love his name.

We have no names picked yet. We've been talking about it, but nothing solid.

I have had names picked out forever!

Boy: Brayden Thomas (middle name for FIL)
Girl: Adriana Rose

My DH doesn't like either name! He wants Thomas as the first name, which I don't like. The only thing we can agree on is girls middle name because it's mine & my mom's middle name.

For a boy: ....let's just hope it's a girl...

Every time DH and I talk about boys names we end up not speaking to each other. He is a "junior" and wants a "third," I on the other hand want to actually name my own child. It doesn't help that his dad (right after we told him we were TRYING for a baby)said "I wouldn't mind having a third around."

My husband is the 5th, and I did not want a 6th. I wanted a name that was reflective of both our families, not just his. He agreed and we selected a name that paid homage to both sides. Both families love out son's name. Stick to your guns and find a name everyone agrees on!

My H and I can never see eye to eye on names. It took us until DS was born to decide on his name - and we actually changed his name two hours after his birth! He was originally Carson, then we switched to Cole and I'm glad we did. I love his name.

For girls I like Olivia (but it's sooo popular), Liza, Paige, Ruby, and Maya. Middle name will definitely be Michele after my mom who passed away last June.

For boys, the only name I don't hate is Ian... but I'm not in love with it. Middle name will be August after my grandfather.

For a boy, I really like Sawyer, but DH is on the fence about it.

I have a daughter now whose name is Anya Alexis Lee... she has 2 middles names as Alexis was sisters who passed and Lee was both my sisters middle and my moms middle name. If it is a girl again her name will be Liliana Kathleen.. Kathleen being my husbands mom middle name and if it is a boy it will be after my husband Louis John.

I say after I carry a baby for months, push a baby outta my vag, or allow one to be cut out, I get final say on baby's name. Period end of story. Call me a jerk, but I'm not trying to please anybody with my name. If family likes it, cool. If they don't, oh well. Of course I will try my best to come to compromise with DH, but outside of that we don't tell anyone our names because I don't even want to hear opinions. And no matter how much DH wanted a certain name, if I couldn't get on board that's that. Every mom earns the veto card
