A picture taken the other day. It's Morgan meeting her older brother for the first time. My husband took her to his grave. I'm sorry if it's upside down, I don't know how to do this on my phone.

My son, Brett Stephen, was born with HLHS and passed away at one month and 28 days. He had one open heart surgery and just wasn't strong enough to recover. He hung on for a long time though and I know that he's watching over us every day. I cherish each and every moment I had with him and know that one day I will be with him again! He is my heart and soul, and his passing left an emptiness in me that my Morgan filled. I will always love and miss him but I am thankful every day that I was given my precious baby girl!!
