What size shoes do your kiddos wear? Are you finding that he/she wears different sizes depending on the brand?

I'm having issues with B's shoes because his size is all over the map. His size 5 Toms seem to be getting snug, so I bought Circos in the same size to test them and they're too big by at least a size. His feet are also too fat for Robeez and other brands with elastic at the top. Can't he just go barefoot forever?

Yes! Cooper wears 4 most of the time. Her aunt got her Michael Kors shoes for her birthday and they are still way too big yet they are a size 4. Same thing with clothes!

Yeah shoes seem to fit differently on LO. Right now she is wearing size 4 in the OshKosh brand that I got at Target. I also hate how certain brands use the age range in months while others use a size. I got LO some Livie and Luca shoes online that run in the month sizes but they are to big for her right now.

Stride Rite measured them both at 4.5 but I've been getting them 5's, and they fit with some room. Liam has actually been wearing size 4 toms and they still fit since the fabric has stretched out. The size 5's slide out. Emma's do not fit anymore but she has a chunkier foot.

I haven't tried the Circo brand but I found the Genuine Kids brand from target run true to size.

We're a victim of fat feet as well so have had a difficult time finding shoes. We finally found some Converse that fit and are wider. They are a size 4 and are really pretty big compared to other brands so will last longer I think. They're also easier to get on than some of the other ones we've had to deal with.

We are good with a 5 in most shoes. He has a pair of 5/6 from OshKosh that are starting to fit pretty well.

We're in Stride Rite size 5.5 XW. We just got a pair Skidders (slippers with the grips) in size 8, but they're a little big.

She's baaaaarely fitting her 6s. She is wearing a few 7s now. I actually have to just suck it up and buy her some new 7 crocs. I think she is gonna be big foot like my H.

@stokedwifey 31in. She was 31lbs and 31in at her 15mo. Big girl! But my H is 6ft 260 and a size 13 shoe. She is his clone. I'm 5'2.

I know you always say she's a big girl, so I wondered if YH was big. Yeah, she's probably going to dwarf you.

I think B will do the same to me. I'm 5'9" and MH is 6'2", so B doesn't have much of a chance to be short. He's almost 32.75 inches, but they had to round down because the nurse couldn't figure out the exact centimeter. Ridiculous.

When we had her fitted at stride rite she measured right at a 4, so I bought 5's (The idea of her growing out of them in 20 minutes makes me sick)... I bought her a pair of Minnetonkas that are a size 3 and they're easily 2 sizes too big, and she has a pair of Sauconys that are 5's and are also a bit too big to wear yet. She has a pair of See Kai Run's that are a 4 and are perfect with just a bit of room to grow.

I hate shoes.

MK shoes?! Cooper is always so stylish, I love it! Haha

G is usually a 3-4, he has tiny (but fat) feet.

Karsyn wears a 4. I bought her some little squeaky shoes and wanted her to be able to wear them for a while so I ordered a 5...yeah she may be able to wear them when she is 2. I hate the different brand/size thing.

Hunter is a solid 7 wide. He's also 34 inches and 28lbs so I'm sure his feet are proportional

I feel your pain! I need to pick up some shoes at Payless tonight and I have no idea what size to get! Glad they have wide sizes, at least.

K currently rotates through 4 pairs of shoes. Sizes 4.5, 5. 5.5, and 6.

Hayden is measuring between 3.5 and 4, but most of the shoes I have which are 4s seem way too big. She is still comfy in her 3.5 nikes (bought for $7 in an outlet when I was visiting the US earlier this year) and her startrite shoes (very similar to stride rite I think)

Totally depends on the brand. She wears Robeez that are size 6-12 months, pedipeds in size 3, and stride rite size 3.5 and 4. 4's are still too big though. She also has nikes and skechers in size 4 that are a bit big.

A just moved up to size 3. She has tiny feet. I'm having problems finding regular shoes small enough. She normally wears her stride rite crib shoes because they fit the best.

Andrew is wearing size 4.5M now. I was able to get two pairs of stride rite shoes on ebay (gently worn) for $5 each. OH YEAH!...
He still fits in his size 4 robeez (soft sole), but he is running now, and I feel he needs to support of a real shoe.

I bought her 2 pairs in size 6 at Walmart. One is a pair of mary janes and fits now, the other is Garanimals gym shoes that are too big so she'll grow into them. She also has a size large I think in these leather booties I bought at Target. What I want to know is, how fast do they outgrow shoes? I don't want to buy her a bunch if she'll only wear them a couple months, and so I also refuse to spend more than 15 dollars. I'm also waiting on getting winter boots because I don't know how big her feet will be.

She is tall, like her dad. She also loves shoes. I actually have to hide them since I don't want her wearing shoes in the house. If she finds them she'll make you put them on.

@doggiemama that's too cute that she loves her shoes. Dagny loves to carry hers around the house (along with mine!).

Dagny was a 3.5 when I got her measured in July at Stride Rite. The guy suggested buying a 4 which is what I bought and they still fit her perfectly. She seems to have small feet that don't grow super fast but the stride rite salesman said to expect to buy new shoes every 3-4 months. Obviously sometimes I'm sure they will go through shoes faster if they go through a growth spurt.
