I have such a waterbug for a baby, (she LOOOOVES the water) she gets MINIMUM one bath a day. In addition to mostly feeding herself, which gets messy, she also spends so much time outside, not to mention how sweaty her head gets when she sleeps!

She typically takes a shower with Daddy in the morning (mostly just for fun), and she and I often have a bath together in the late afternoon (just for an "activity"), and then after dinner she definitely needs a bath or another shower with one of us before bedtime.

I am going to bite my tongue on this post......I can't do it. Seriously ONCE a week? Your kid poops on themselves. How would you like to just be wiped off after a week of using the bathroom on yourself? Bring on the backlash. I'm a big girl. I can take it.

I'm backing you up on this one. Once a week? I just can't even imagine. I wash DS's hands after diaper changes, and I wash his hands and face after every snack and meal time, and I still find that every other night is the minimum of cleanliness. Come on! Babies love the bath too so let them have fun in the bath if you aren't doing it for cleanliness!!!

FYI not every kid loves bath time. @jwschwarz
  • We bathe EOD, or if dinner was particularly messy.
