Has anyone had an MRI? ( sunshinylees)

in Parenting after a Loss
My septum was discovered by HSG and my OB now wants me to get a MRI to re confirm and check the severity. I'm booked in for Oct 18. The results will determine if I get surgery to correct it. Has anyone had a MRI and can walk me through what to expect, specifically to check a uterus abnormality? Thanks!!

    I was in a study on fetal MRIs, so I had three while I was pregnant.  Overall it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  You are on an uncomfortable table, and they had this plastic thing clipped in over my chest to help me hold still which made me a little claustrophobic, but really wasn't terrible.  the actual MRI wasn't a very long tunnel, either my head or my feet were always sticking out as the table moved back and forth through the big doughnut.  The magnets are loud as they click on and off, but they give you headphones to keep the noise level down.

    I had one for a suspected uterine abnormality(misshaped). You just lay on an uncomfy table with headphones. Lots of clanking noises but painless and over pretty fast
