Thoughts/Rants/Chart Stalks: having a very rough day. My grandmother passed away in February, and today would have been her birthday. I was the only grandchild who didn't give her great grandchildren before she died. We were really close, and I miss her so much, and I know she'll be with me when I become a mom, but I'm regretting not starting to try sooner. Ugh. Sorry for the vent. I just can't handle life today.

What are you doing? Taking my first temp tomorrow morning. Not sure how it's going to go because I find myself waking up about 10 min before my alarm lately and rolling around to get comfortable...is that too much movement? I'm such a newb at this!

Guess I'm excited to see how it goes for us, but I feel like there's so much room for error and I'm going to mess it up somehow and waste my time ie: waking up early on the weekends to maintain consistency, yet somehow screw it up.

I hope this even posts. It'll load some sites and not others. It's being sooooo slow as well. I'm not a huge computer person, one of the only reasons I get one is the internet, so I feel like a brand new computer should be able to open Facebook when it has a working internet to be on (see, I don't even know what I'm supposed to call it).
TTGP related: Got my solid smiley today, so 3 more days of HIO ED.

Thoughts/Rants/Chart Stalks: Patrick woke up this morning at 2:30 which is really uncommon. DS isn't working today and instead of getting up he pretends to be asleep so I got up which probably messed up my chart. What did the jerk so then, he got up as soon as I laid back down. Really? You couldn't have gotten up? Ugh.

Like sweetTea42 I also have a little monkey who is worse than our animals. I also have a dog named Roxy, a cat named Boots, and 7 chickens. Patrick and Roxy like to get into trouble together.
@wareagle1220 - it would seem odd to have a strong positive opk after O, but I've seen other people mention something similar so it just might happen sometimes. Or possibly the higher temp is high for some other reason other than O, and the true rise hasn't quite started yet. Either way, you're smart to HIO just in case!

2 rants, just to get them off my chest.
1- My son is not even 8 months old yet and I've had 5 family members ask if I'm pregnant. I'm skinnier than I've ever been, so its not like I have a baby bump catching people's eye. Shouldn't there be some sort of rule that you have to wait at least a year after someone has a baby before you start pestering them?
2- I hate my body. AF keeps getting shorter and my cycles longer, and its bothering the crap out of me. I am thankful that AF is very light and short now, but at the same time, I'm afraid she'll disappear altogether in the near future.
GTKY: What animals do you have if any? PIP! I have a bunch. Our 2 yr old german shepherd, 8 yr old chihuahua, my two turkeys we got as chicks in the spring (H wants to eat them pretty bad), a horse, a pig that were planning to eat in the spring, chickens, a gecko (that's what my daughter is holding in the pic, ignore her bedhead). Half of them are on my dad's farm. The dogs and gecko live with us.
I don't know why most of them are sideways. ..

Thoughts/Rants/Chart Stalks: I'm still getting to know my cycle, since I didn't have my period with my Mirena in. I was really thinking I would at lease get the "fertile" just not "Peak Fertility" reading on the OPK. Last month I had a 31 day cycle, we'll see what this one ends up being! I gotta say I love peeing on those sticks every morning. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself during the 2WW this month....

Thoughts/Rants/Chart Stalks: So I started spotting again today and I'm so upset about it. 2 cycles ago I started spotting a week before AF arrived then during the next cycle I had 3 days of no bleeding then spotting again, went to doctor who gave me Provera to reset my cycle. I was really optomistic this cycle would be different but it looks like it's not gonna work out. I'm so frustrated as well because I've been trying to eat better and exercise more which I've been doing really well with except now I'm just really sad and all I want to do is eat a huge cake:-(

We just adopted 2 cats about a month ago. We said if we were not pregnant a year after we stopped avoiding (August), we would get a cat. We ended up falling in love with 2 of them, so now we are proud cat owners.
And apparently I have no idea how to PIP anymore....

However, I'm only spotting a tiny bit today. My OPKs are still really faint, and I have no idea if O is coming or if I'm already out or what. I could really use some ute goggles. Boo.
