At her 2 month checkup, the doctor was concerned how low she'd gotten on the weight growth chart (I think she was in the 80s at birth and down to 22nd percentile by 2 month), so we had to move to a high calorie formula.

@emorda, our baby has been bottle-fed a combo of breast milk and formula since birth. Our son had a similar growth for his first year, staying in the 95th %ile until 12 months, then dropping down to the 50th where he's been ever since (he's almost 20 mo now). Their birth mom (both are adopted, born to the same woman) was a gigantically and adorably fat baby through her first year too, and now is a size zero. I think it's really just how they are wired genetically!

It's great how much weight your baby has gained in the first 6 weeks, I hope mine will do the same. I just want mine to be healthy of course!
Birth: 8lbs 12oz, 20in
2 months: 13lbs 9oz (90th percentile), 25in (off the charts, over 100th percentile)
His head measurements were 14.6in at birth, 17in at 2 months.. Wayyy off the charts. The nurses always measure more than once, they always think they made a mistake. My boy has a huge melon!!!
My son's head circumference is off the charts as well!
Birth - 8lbs, 2oz, 21 inches.
1 month - 9lbs, 11 ounces, 21.5 inches
5 weeks (we had another dr. appointment) - 10lbs, 2 oz, 21.5 inches
