We have a relatively okay sleeping baby. On the weeknights anyways. We put her down awake around 6:30-7:30, when she starts showing tired cues, and she'll usually wake up once to eat and then right back to sleep.
On the weekends, it's complete misery. We put her down around the same time, she puts herself to sleep, and then the trouble starts. She's up at 9. And 11. And 1. And 3. And 4:45. It's like having a newborn all over again. It's not as painful on Saturday nights, because we have Sunday to recover, but on Mondays when my day starts at 5, it means I'm starting the week off exhausted.
I'm guessing it's something to do with our weekend schedule. She seems to be napping about the same amount, possibly 30 mins more or so on the weekends, and they've been relatively quiet weekends for the most part. Is this a pretty common occurrence? Any suggestions that worked for you?
Re: Weekdays vs. Weekends - Sleeping
Unfortunately, I don't have any advice but she did eventually outgrow it around the 1 year mark.
